I am helping my mother with her genealogy research by locating our ancestors' graves. Then, I got involved with several friends, helping them create their trees and memorials. You can see the names we are following in my virtual cemeteries. Along the way, I have found others' ancestors and created their pages. Now I have documented our ancestry to Col. Daniel Boone which was very interesting. And, finding the "Women of the American Revolution." Next trying to break down several "brick walls."
If I have entered any information that is incorrect, please contact me for a correction. I want to keep the information as accurate as possible.
I'm happy to transfer management to family members, just ask! Please use the "Edit" tab and "Suggest a Correction" when doing so and remember to give your member# along with your relationship or reason for the transfer.
I believe that memorials should belong to family members whenever possible, as family have a personal interest in honoring their relatives and are better able to complete, maintain and improve memorials with additional details and research. I am more than willing to have family members "adopt" them.
Please feel free to use any photos I have posted in your research work. © Photo courtesy of Find-a-grave member #47361005

Hi, Please use the edit/ correction button on the memorial to send updates to the contributors, rather than sending several emails for one memorial. It makes it easier and faster for us to make the changes. Thank you.

Yes, I would like an "invite" to your tree. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org and my name is Debbie Lytle. What is your name "Janice."

No, I am not on Ancestry. I am related through a cousin who married Fielding Sappington (1804-1875). Her name was Anna Cahill (1809-1885) and she is the sister of my 4th great grandfather, Samuel Cahill, Sr. Anna & Fielding had several grandchildren and great grandchildren who were quite accomplished, which you probably know already. I tried to send some "edits" for those relative, but was unable because you had some of your own that were pending. Sometimes it seems to take a while for the edits to be checked.

I would like to know if you are related to or helping someone with John Isaac Hinkle (1871 MO-1940 NM). I am a distant relative and have been researching my Cahill family from Franklin Co, MO.
I found you when I tried to do an edit on his Find A Grave record.
I added the photos to George and Harry's memorials. I captioned the one for George with the information that is not easy to read on the left side of the obelisk(it's about 10 feet tall). Do you need the photo for the Benjamin listed on the side, with dates, to the right of George and Harry? This also shows John and Lydia's side with dates and another John Bartholomew under Benjamin but with no dates.
These photo were taken with a 16 MP camera. They scaled very well. After clicking on the photo in either memorial, click on them again to get the expanded view in another window. Hover the cursor over the expanded view. A cursor as a magnifier appears. Click with that and the view gets so close you can see ex-stream detail. The 7 in Harry's dob shows the very subtle style of the carver. Scroll to the left (arrow keys) and see that the last date for J. Cleaver (not distinguishable from the front view) seems to be 1857. Are Benjamin and this other John familiar to you. You may have more memorials to create?
Ms Monroe gave you a chuckle about her relationship to someone. I have a similar one too. You look at a Dollar Bill and see the Father of Our Country. I look and see my 7 times grandmother's, half-sister's, step-daughter's, brother-in-law. If you have any tie, no matter how small, to George Washington, I can show you his 8th cousin, 8 times removed. She's having a baby this month in England. Guess who she is?

|Susanne D||Photo Request|
Hello, I'm I Find a Grave volunteer who lives near Memorial Cemetery in Skokie. There is some confusion about taking photos at this cemetery, but I have taken a number in the last few years. What I can't do is look up the location for you. If you call the cemetery 847-864-5061 and then post the location in your request, I will attempt to fulfill it. Some folks have reported to me that the cemetery will not give out the location via phone. This is hard to understand if you are a family member. I would prefer to have the location posted rather than sent to me via email. Susanne D

Thank you so much. I'm still laughing at the unusual line of ancestry involving your family and the Ball's.
I'm working on only the direct lines of my four grandparent's and their spouses and son't really want to get sidetracked with other members of the family. However, I may change my mind and thank you for your generous offer.
If you don't mind emailing the info you refer to I could keep it on hand just in case. Can you do that?
If so, my email address is email@example.com.
It's all so fascinating and addictive, I love it.
|Frances Cope||RE: Faia #94520004|
There is a William Faia buried in Hollywood Hills Forest Lawn. I noticed no other Faia's in the general area and their records do not reflect other Faias there.
