My Goal is to make sure that ancestors of my family have access to their family roots. I will continue to submit grave sites to Find A Grave because I was disappointed not to find a single relative listed on Find A Grave. I feel that it is important to trace your family roots and if I can help provide one single trace for one single person then I have reached my goal.I have tread through cow pastures (cows and cow pies and barbed wire fences) and miles out in the woods to find some of the information in my FAG inputs. For example: the Poole-Meadows cemetery has only field stones and no records are available. I believe that this is where the "original" John Vise may be buried before headstones were made for graves and only field stones marked the graves.|

Thank you. Is there any part of the Vise tree that you would like me to send to you. I have a lot.? Blessings. Craig D. Brown.
|craig dixon brown||VISE|
My family tree starts with a Rev Hosea Vise. He died in Macedonia, Illinois. The family stories have him leaving Spartanburg, SC. He married, did not allow wine to be served at his wedding, and took his wife out west. He traveled to Tenn (Vise town, Perry count)then to Posey County, Indiana, and then to Macedonia, Illinois. What is remarkable is that his simple Christian faith influenced to the present generation. If you could point me in the direction as to what branch of the Vise family in SC I should look into I would be very thankful. Also by a strange twist it seems that the Marquis family travel out west started in Spartanburg, SC as well, and followed Vise to Macedonia, Ill. (my mothers side was Vise & Marquis) Thank you, Craig D. Brown, Wisconsin

My grandfather is Henry T Taylor 1873-1945 This is not his parents. I have a copy of his death certificate and they were Robert Taylor and Nancy Johnson.(Not Nancy Cunningham) I have not been able to locate a grave for Robert Taylor or Nancy Johnson. If you have any information on them I would appreciate it. Thank You Darlene Taylor
Are you a descendant of the any of the Wallace memorials you manage?
I wrote you an email today asking you if you can meet Nancy Vice Jones and me this coming Tuesday or Wednesday at your convenience and discuss John Vise and Frances Roebuck.
