Dennis, someone needs to add Galivants Ferry to this cemetery name. Just thought I'd add that in since Horry is such a big place. Have a great day!

Dennis, I was at the site today for the first time and noticed that the gravestone which had been laying flat on the ground had been set up in a vertical position along with the flag and CSA emblem. Do you know who raised the gravestone and when this occurred?

Also do you know the meaning of W T White which is on his wife's gravestone (Maria A)? By chance would you know what the A stands for?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. John G is my 2nd great grandfather.

please respond to my email address theduffer11@aol.com

Thanks again,

David Anderson

I photographed Henry's stone today but it was very hard to read and the angle I photographed it is pretty much illegible. I added it to his memorial as a photo only so the request could stay active. Sorry it didn't come out well.

RE: Todd Family
I have done a lot of research on my Todd's and I discovered that Joe J. Todd was not a direct ancestor of mine. According to Bill Mosely, my Great Grandfather William Chancey Todd, was a son of Joe's, but research and family interviews told me that his rather was actually Levi Frank Todd. His rather was William John Todd III so Joe is not my Great Grandfather as I always thought. At any rate, I need to get back over there myself as I live in Tennessee.

Pvt.Jacob Cannon
Hello Dennis,
I went to the Steven's Cemetery in Loris, S.C. looking for your requested Jacob Cannon 1839-1934
I was unable to find a marker for him. There are many small unmarked stones and some that are just to weathered to read.. Sorry I couldn't help you further..
