Rhoda Thompson (Bostwick) Sherman
HI, Mary, Thanks for your great work. FYI: There are several Bostwick & Sherman books available. I have MANY published resources that show that my maternal great, great, great grandma, Rhoda Thompson (Bostwick) Sherman, died on Jun 6, 1890 (and not 1870, as was listed on Findagrave). I suspect that the number "9" became a bit hard to read on the gravestone.
Best wishes, Dean Silvers

RE: Mabel Cadman, Oak Grove Cem., #92131726
Mary: Yes, thank you. Luther, Maria, John, Lutie, the Cadman Babies and Sarah Miller are all on Block 2, Lot 28. Those Find-a-Grave records are mine, the vitals and relationship links completed. Maria's maiden name is Miller, and we believe that Sarah is Maria's sister-in-law, as she was born in NY and has a son Robert. Does your register give any further detail as to Sarah's relationship?

After I receive the transfer for Mabel (my i.d. is #47167661), I'll complete her record and add the relationship links to her parents (my Great-Grandparents) in Hillside.

Thank you for all your help!

RE: Mabel Cadman, Oak Grove Cem., #92131726
Yes, please transfer to me (I.D. #47167661)

Charles and Louisa (Carpenter) Cadman are my Great-Grandparents. My Great-Grandparents and Grandparents are buried at Hillside. The Mabel at Oak Grove is a younger sister to my Grandmother that I didn't know about. Is she buried alone? If you have access to the cemetery register, does this complete the Cadmans at the cemetery?

The DAR has a transcription of this cemetery from 1948, if there is a need for it. The Cadmans buried here are DAR and Mayflower eligible.

Thank you.

Mabel Cadman, Oak Grove Cem., #92131726
Hi Mary,
re: Mabel Cadman, record #92131726, Plot 13-1.

My Cadman 2nd Great-Grandparents (Luther & Maria) are buried in Block 2, Lot 28 (I manage their records & photos). All the WI Cadmans are related, 2 brothers of Luther and the descendant families are buried in Walworth & surrounding counties. This Mabel is definitely within my family, but I have no record of her. I found her online death record, but the parents are not reflected. I have a portion of the DAR cemetery transcription that reflects Block 2, Lot 28, but not the full transcript.

By chance, do you remember the names of the family members she's buried with -- or was she by herself? From Luther's immediate family, given her vitals, she can only be an unknown-to-us, deceased infant sister of my grandmother. Any details you have will be appreciated! Thank you.

I am sending you a few more obits I found with my research..I appreciate you adding the info. so much as it may lead others to their ancestors. It gives the married names of female children which sometimes are lost in research..Alesia
Also you will see I put the source info. from my research and my buddy R.Kreklow who has been a big help to me..As for the name of the paper they came from- I would put local newspaper as I don't always have the name of the paper..
