OK, I went back to the ELCA church records online for St Peter's Church in Benson. Her burial record for 27 Mar 1900 (burial date) stated that she was born in "Tettan" (may not be the correct spelling), Ober-Baiern. Oberbayern is the region around Munich. So I'm pretty confident about her birth region. I did find a city named "Titting" in Oberbayern, so perhaps that's her birthplace.

Yes, that would be great if you would. I have been researching the family for over 20 years.

Thank you Amy. I did check the back of Grietje's marker, but couldn't see anything there either. I can't find anything to support which of the death dates are correct? Have a great day!
