My interest in genealogy began ten years ago when I started my Family Trees. Most of my relatives are from PA and OH. My research led me to join ROAGK in IA, where I volunteered to help others in their search for information. Since my retirement, I am now dedicating my time to entering information into "FAG". Hopefully some of the information and gravestone pictures will help others in their searches. If you note errors in my entries, please let me know by email and include "FAG" in the subject line. I hope my contributions add to the value of this important site.|
Find a Grave has implemented a new way to submit Edits! Unfortunately, there are far too many members for Find a Grave to notify everyone via email, so it's up to us to get the word out. If every member posts this message (or similar) in their profile, hopefully we can help spread the word.
To suggest a correction (SAC) click on the edit tab of the memorial that needs to be corrected. Then click on the link which best describes where your edit should occur. Enter your correction, when you're done, click submit edit. Your request will be sent to the manager of the memorial and will appear in the managers' profile under the Edits tab.
Managers will no longer receive emails. They must go directly to their profile page and click on the Edits tab. Managers can approve, deny or ignore, suggested corrections. It's quick and easy!
Requesting a transfer other corrections are still handled the same way. Click on "suggest any other correction or addition," type your message and press "send this message." The manager of the memorial will receive an email.

I think this Sarah Greenland that married Andrew Shaw is buried in the Winegardner Cem. in Fulton County. I was there and wished I would of taken pictures. Jim

Quite welcome, Nancy. I subscribe to newspaperarchive.com - much better than newspapers.com for finding obits. Still working through that arm of the family so you might see more. This is a great way for me to validate information and find more cousins :) later.

I tried contact you via your email addy on yis site. No Luck. The family genology written by my second cousin, Llyod Lamberson held a significant amount of information in re The Lambersons, Lanes and Brown families.
I'm still trying to find out the family connnection between us and the Cutshall Family. Strond and persistent rumoprs exist that a Hannah Cutshall was a Onondaga Iroquois.
The aforementioned information was related to me by my late Grandmother Pearl Leticia Lamberson-McCann.
She passed at 102 years of age.

Thanks you for making the change. I live about 30 miles from the cemetery. My Stains family came from Huntingdon County, PA (Meadow Gap, Three Springs area). My great grandfather Daniel, co-signed a loan for a friend, and when his friend defaulted on the loan, my great grandfather lost his farm and then moved across the mountain into Franklin County, PA.

I'm giggling because we are both redheads!
Thank you for your efforts. I'll look at your other posts and advise you know if I see anything.
You'll be interested to know that there are others researching the family who have not yet found ( or want to admit) that she had evidently been married 3x and not 2x ( as appears in the obit...).
