Please take the time to read Find A Grave FAQs. From the FAQs: "Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred." Also, Find A Grave, not us, have set the Guidelines. We did not set the Guidelines, but we do abide by them. ------------------------------------- Guidelines: Transfers - (Please read) Parents, Siblings, Grandparents And Great Grandparents (which does not include Aunts/Uncles/Cousins) When making requests, please be honest. Too many requests lately are way beyond belief. PLEASE use the "Edit" tab, it saves so much extra time & work and, for sure, the correct memorial is being transferred. ------------------------------------------- Please avoid rudeness. I abide by the Guidelines, especially if you are rude. ------------------------------------------- My husband and I have been interested in genealogy for many years. It wasn't until he retired that we really got involved. We ran across Find-A-Grave and decided to go to as many cemeteries as possible to possibly find some of our relatives and maybe help other people locate their relatives. We haven't located very many of our relatives, but we will continue entering as many tombstones as possible, hopefully to help others.
Lately I have been getting many, many transfer requests without the needed information. If anyone requests a transfer, use the EDIT tab and the transfer request must contain the following information: Relationship; Parents, Siblings, Grandparents And Great Grandparents (which does not include Aunts/Uncles/Cousins) and your Find-A-Grave Contributor Number. A transfer cannot be done without the contributor number. It takes up too much time for me to search out the above information.
PLEASE USE THE "EDIT" TAB FOR ANY AND ALL ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS, TRANSFERS, ETC.
Thanks for understanding. | |

 | Link Betty Miller I have asked you several times via the edit tab to link the memorial of Betty Miller #61830227 to her parents Leland Sleppy #81661699 and Mary Sleppy #92950028 and you have not done so. If you are too busy managing your 100,000+ memorials, then please transfer Betty's memorial to me, Ernest Davis #46922143. I only have 225 memorials to manage. | | | Joanne

 | MY Aunt Gwen Sargent & her parents Frank & Florrie I am not sure how to start this but to say Thank You for what you are doing. My aunt Gwent passed away in 2006 .Unfortunately she was our last remaining relative in the USA . At the time it was not possible or affordable for any of us to travel from Wales to the USA for the funeral and we have always been very concerned as to what happened to her ie as to whether it was a buriel or cremation as nobody informed us . We were told not to send flowers as the whether at the time was not suitable . We are still trying to find out what happened to her house & family things since then with no success . I have been using Ancestry .com to compose our family tree for several years & suddenly today thanks to a link to your site I now know that aunt gwen was buried & thanks to your good work can see photo's of her memorial . This really does mean such a lot to us . My daughter has been working a long time on the history of Gwen's father Frank who sang in a welsh choir touring the USA and singing for the president which is why after visiting the usa with the choir & my grandfather ( His brother William) he chose to move and settle in Indiana . The difficulty I have in finding information has been the surname sergeant has over the years been spelt in so many ways . Once again thank you for the good work you are doing by supplying the information & photo's to Find a Grave . I am so glad I found you . If you would like to see information & background to Frank Sargent whose grave you have found the link to my daughter's story is http://gwentglee.blogspot.co.uk/ I hope you find it of interest. Thank you & kindest regards Carol HibberdAdded by merlin44 on May 09, 2013 6:41 AM | | | cfenters
 | William H. Martin On January 16, 2013, I sent you (via the Edit Tab) a request to delete memorial # 103059979 because it was a duplicate of # 103058715. Both memorials were created by you on the same day. Thought that perhaps this request went to SPAM or just overlooked. Thanks!Added by cfenters on May 08, 2013 11:56 PM | | | Cameron Krider
