Bio

*My sweet husband passed away in January 2023. I had taken a step back from my self imposed dedication to Find A Grave due to his illness & other responsibilites. I am doing well and will continue to update & make edits on a regular basis. Please, please make sure of your information before you send an edit. Many thanks & Blessings on all you Find a Gravers for the work you are doing!

I, like most of you, love learning about family history. I am interested in all my family lines: Atkins, Brock, Brown, Whittle, Caldwell, Roesler, Russell, Holloway, Austin, Dobbs, Hollis, LeMaster, Lewallen, Canter, Sansing, Flanegan, Vaughns, and many others. The work of Find A Grave volunteers and other genealogists is very much appreciated. While my time is limited due work and family, I try to contribute as much of my time as is possible.

If you wish me to transfer your direct line family member to you, use the edit tab on the memorial page, then click to submit a correction or additional information and I will consider it. What I look for before I transfer a memorial is if the person requesting is an active find a graver, meaning, does that person go out and survey cemeteries, photograph graves, research for data on the person, or others, not even related. I used to think I should "own" or manage memorials of my family members, which I think is common to newcomers to find a grave. I don't feel that way anymore. Rather than owning my relatives memorials, I add them to my virtual cemeteries so they are readily available to me. I used to be more "giving" and transferred to anyone requesting. I don't do that anymore. After transferring, often, nothing changed on the memorials. Then I would send an edit request to that person, with no response. I am more than willing to make any reasonable updates to the memorial and so just send me any information you think should be changed and I will take care of it as soon as possible. You are able to add photos as you wish to the memorials, no matter who maintains it. Thanks!

I have completed adding memorials to Floyd Memory Gardens and all the pictures to the memorials.
