I started researching my family roots on my mother's side in Aug 2010 after seeing a small family tree about this side of my family that I knew little about. I soon became hooked on genealogy research! |
I found Find a Grave Oct 2011 and now I'm getting hooked on Find A Grave! Most weekends will find me photographing in one of the many cemeteries near by. I don't know how long this latest addiction will last, but for now I am loving exploring and photographing.
So much so, that I'm lagging behind in getting photos uploaded. If I've created a memorial though it means I do have a photo and plan to upload it as time permits. Please ask if you don't see a photo for a memorial you're interested in and I'll be glad to upload it right away!
Please note I will only be able to create links and make additions or corrections to memorials that are requested via the EDIT TAB. I have too many now to manage it any other way. Simply go to the memorial you want transfered, click on the EDIT tab above the grave photo, click in "Suggest a correction or provide additional information" and then follow the instructions for requesting a transfer. Thank you!

Hi, I just wanted to thank you for sharing the pictures of the graves of Jennie E Stener, Reuben Stener and William C Stener (at the Lakeview cemetary). I'm from Sweden and I've been studiyng my family history a lot. William and Reuben were my grandfathers cousins. Jennie their mother emigrated to the USA in 1913 at age 23, with two small children, one of which was William. I'm so thankful that you took these pictures!! Love from Sweden.

Yes, I know of Ancestry. I store my whole family tree on there. As for subscription, I don't have a paid subscription (poor college student here!), so I am unable to view any record, except for: 1940 US Census, Find a Grave, and Obituary Index. I would love to so much to be a subscribed member, but I just can't afford it right now. Thanks for your help in this, though. I really appreciate it.

Thanks so much for the update.

No, because she's still living, lol :) I couldn't see the part of the stone where the death year would have been very well, it was darker there, wet or something and I assumed she must be dead and got missed somehow. Goodness she's pushing a 100! Thanks for photographing and adding all these grave this past summer, means a lot to me, since I can't get there easily.

Sue, I got my information from Ancestry. Do you access that site? Several people have listed the family of John Solomon Gustafson. The first one listed is by a user named "mimigustafson1". Do you know this person? He/she has pictures and the names of all the Gustafson children, who are:
Esias Frithiof Ferdinand: 1868 to 1877
John Loff: 1870 to 1951
Gerda Vilhelmina Octavia: 1873 to 1923
Magdalena Sofia: 1876 to 1945
Fritjof Ferdinand: 1879 to 1955
Anna Elsie Theresa: 1881 to 1954
Carl Gustaf: 1884 to 1887
Ruth Tilda Olivia: 1887 to 1924
You were asking about Carl Gustaf Gustafson?
|d lester||RE: Ancestry.com- re Joe Moore|
Thanks again S. Rupp. You did find my brothers Ancestry entry. It appears he found many of Joe's relatives who have passed away, related to our G. Grandfather Earl Joseph Moore (Joe) but we don't know anymore about where Joe is. We don't know his relatives, or their descendants, who would also be our relatives. You even manage his Mom Cora's site. Small world. Unless my brother already has, we will check out that Polk genealogy site. I am honored to do the Memorials for Victor, Harold and Earl Moore. If you find added info please let me know. You are awesome for doing all that you have. Thanks for the wonderful gift you give all of us. It might be nice to email to better explain versus public posts. Thanks for your patience.
