My interest in genealogy started when I was young and found a folder my dad had with notes on many generations of his family. What started with those pages of notes and a tin type of his grandfather has turned into a journey that has now been ongoing for over 30 years. I believe I have visited every graveyard/cemetery within a 40 mile radius of where I live and have helped hundreds get photographs of tombstones they might not otherwise have. When ever I am able to take a trip away from home I make time to visit an old cemetery. When in England several years ago I even got the owner of the bed and breakfast where I was staying to drive along and help me look for tombstones. It was a great experience and hope to do it again one day.|
And remember this: When chemists die, they barium.

Thank you very much!!! I was hoping she had one too!!! Her mother and sister worked at the Benson Hotel for many, many years. When her sister passed away she was the last family member and she left her estate to her cousins. My Mom was one of them. Very generous of her to do that. So I thought from that they would have placed a headstone. My sister and our cousins, that we are in contact with, are going to be as thrilled as I am that you found her!!!
Thank you again!!!

You have made my day!!! Thank you so very much for finding and posting the photo for Louise!!! She was my 1st cousin once removed. Her mother and my maternal grandmother were sisters.
Was she in a baby section? Or was she near any of her family? I don't know if her family members are buried next to each other or not. May I please have your permission to use your photo in my family tree? Of course I will give you credit for it.
Thank you again!!

Thank you for letting me know. I have requested a photo for her husband, also, but it appears he may be buried in the same grave, too. I'll remove my request until I can learn more. Thanks again.

I am very grateful for the photo of Raymond's headstone. His wife, Dorothy Irene is also shown. I've made a memorial for her and have put in a request for a photo. Thanks again, Linda.
