Please let me know if you find a mistake or something I can add to a memorial. While I have walked many a cemetery, I get most of my information from historic books/obit's/bio's and newspaper articles. The newspapers were not so concerned with correct spelling or dates, and some of the tombstones themselves are hard to read...so while I try the best I can to be accurate, I do make typo's and admit...Im not perfect.

If you would like me to transfer a memorial to you for one of your friends/loved ones, let me know, I will be glad to.

The reason I love Find A Grave is:
When I was a little girl my grandfather was a grave digger. He used to pick me up and take me with him, getting to the cemetery at dusk, as back then you dug the graves by hand, equipment was a no-no. He taught me to respect a cemetery.
Its the last place and the last chance for the person who has passed on....to have someone remember them.
He taught me to think about that little dash between the birth and death date. That tiny little dash represents the persons entire life.
It doesn't tell you if they were a parent, if they had hardships, if they were rich or poor, but it shows that they lived on earth and were loved by someone.
My friends thought I was crazy to go with him to help dig graves at night, he would say, "no one in here can hurt you, it's the one's outside this place that can".
We need to preserve our cemetery's....the final records of our life.
I consider everyone's life important and even tho I don't know most of the folks I have entered God knows them, and their life means something to Him. I hope this helps their family and friends, and future generations, who can log on to FAG and find out a little genealogy.
FAG gives a voice to those who are not in the history books, or the sports records, they let us put our family, the true hero's of our past who make us what we are, or will become in the future, out there for the world to see and honor.

I thank God for saving me, blessing me with the hope of Heaven, and giving us Jesus and the Holy Spirit....where would any of us be without Him?

If you would take a minute to visit my uncle Nathan

and cousin who were both killed in Korea, it would mean the world to me:

RE: Leaving Find A Grave
Hi Beverly,
Thank you. I really miss taking photos. Every time I pass a cemetery, I wonder if any stones are needed for someone's genealogy. Hopefully, I will be able to start up again one of these days.

Joseph Henry Long
Hi Beverly. I was going through some of my old family photos and came across a photo of Leslie and Joseph Long. Would you mind if I post his photo to the memorial that you have? I am not sure where his wife Leslie was buried. Her death certificate states that it was in Findlay but doesn't note the cemetery. I can send some additional edits through Find-A-Grave. Thank-you for the consideration. Judy Miller

King Graves
Beverly I was wondering if you would transfer Van C. King, James H. King, Mary E. King and Deborah G. King Kerns to me to manage. They are my Brothers and sister in law and a neice. I would like to be able to link to the rest of our family. Thank you so much in advance and thanks so much for all of your labors so far in adding names to find a grave. Thank you Clyta Anderson

Hello Beverly.

I was wondering if you would be willing to transfer H. Franklin Siegenthaler and Queen Siegenthaler's memorials to me.
They are the Grandparents of my adopted siblings and I'd like to link them and add information.

Your Family
Hi There,

I visited the two pages one of your Uncle and the othe other gentlemen. Wow, what they had to endure! My father swerved in WWII as a Paratrooper. I am sorry your folks were not able to come home alive. Thank you for sharing their wonderful lives with us! I live in Medina County, Oh. Would love to visit their graves.
