On Passing A Graveyard |
~ John O'Donohue ~
May perpetual light shine upon
The faces of all who rest here.
May the lives they lived
Unfold further in spirit.
May all their past travails
Find ease in the kindness of clay.
May the remembering earth
Mind every memory they brought.
May the rains from the heavens
Fall gently upon them.
May the wildflowers and grasses
Whisper their wishes into light.
May we reverence the village of presence
In the stillness of this silent field.

Thanks so much for finding and photographing the Kerr graves - and for all you do for Find A Grave. I have requested a photo for George B. if you could add the additional photo to his memorial? That way you can receive credit. Many thanks!

oh wow. well newburg is technically lajose. i think i may have just googled newburg to get an address. i haven't been there since i took those pics. and it is not marked very well! i followed the directions, but randomly drove up an unmarked dirt road where a bunch of machinery was parked and it is at the top of a hill...

Diane, Christina Wagner Wolfgang is not one of my memorials, Douglas McGilp has her if you look down on Christina's memorial. I just looked through Schuylkill Co. Pa. Archives Vol 1, Rice and Dellock to see if her stone is listed in the very old section, or the section that has lost it stones. It is not, but I have a feeling it is in the church records that are in Friedens office. Call the church office. There is a group of genealogist who support the information of the graves and of who is buried there. Carrie C.

Thank you for the nice photo taken of Melvin the the McClure Cemetery. Your efforts are most appreciated.
One of the photos you post on Find A Grave Memorial# 81673970 got posted twice. You might wish to revisit and delete one of them.
