I do not find a grave in the Fortner gaveyard on Doe Branch. There is a Fortner grave yard on Big Pine. Do you know for sure Bert Griffin was buried in the Doe Branch grave yard in a unmarked grave site? | |

I'll make this one short. Last Saturday I surveyed the Frank Rector Cemetery and added over 20 new memorial pages.

The burials are not in the county cemetery transcription book which indicates that there are no headstones for these early burials. I would need the burial location information from the church to try to locate the burial as the cemetery is too large to walk and search. The Ebenezer Baptist Church phone is 828-692-0170. Steve | |
