Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have always been interested in family history and genealogy, as well as local history. I have been so thankful for information I've found online when others have provided it, so want to do my fair share. Will add photos when possible.

I have photographed most of my family gravestones from various cemeteries and if possible will try to find them for others if able at the time of the request. Due to health problems, I have not been able to do as much as I'd like.

IF I have created a Memorial for a friend or family member of yours and you want me to transfer ownership, please let me know.

I rarely create a Memorial Page unless it's for a relative or someone who is close to my family; I try to guard against sensitive material that might embarrass anyone and I also try to link Family Members whenever possible.

I have verified as many of the dates and relationships as possible on Ancestry.com or FamilySearch.org, or through Family Knowledge that has been passed down.

I have taken great care to try to be as accurate as possible, but if you see a mistake on any page I've created, please let me know so I can correct the mistake as soon as I possibly can.

I want my pages to be as correct as humanly possible, as I have seen many careless mistakes on some pages. I always search for the person first so as to try and avoid duplicate Memorial Pages. I also always re-read what I post so I can correct any typos I may have overlooked.

My Family names are Arthur, Bales/Bayles, Grinstead, Hillenburg, Houshour, Jeffries,
Martin(on both Maternal and Paternal sides!), Owen & Page.

Many Blessings to all those who contribute to Find-A-Grave in any way, and to all those who have lost the ones they most love.

FRIEND?
Hi, Thanks for the information regarding Charles, had he been sick, accident? The last of knew of them, they were in Texas, and Joy worked at the Mall in Bloomington, this was been several years ago. Did they live back here in Indiana at the time of his death?
Yes we can be friends. What does being a friend on F-A-G entail? Just like a friend in person, thoughtful, helpful and etc.?

father??
Hi, I notice that there is a Charles Rodgers buried in 2006, do you know if this is John E. Rodgers' father? Both at Green Hill cemetery in Bedford. If this is father and son, I am shocked-my mother baby-sat with Johnny and Joy, and I didn't know that Charles had died. Thank you for any information you can give me.

RE: Kathryn Alexander Hutton
Absolutely. I enjoy meeting all the people I've found on Find A Grave...some related. You never know when a connection might arise.

My grandmother told me we were related to Hoagy Carmichael. I laugh when I think about this because the man was from Bloomington and the chances are good there is a connection somewhere. I now know what family he is from (Skirvin) and my family crosses the Skirvin line. It just is a matter of time!!

Well...it was a hopeful venture. Actually, I belong to the DAR and I was looking for another connection.

Everyone seems to be related in some way in Monroe Co.

Thanks for all your help.

I suspect you are related to this lady. Charles Stratton, who took the picture of her memorial died a couple years ago.

I suggest you contact Find A Grave and ask for ownership so the memorial can be updated.

I think there may be a connection with my McCoy family but I get lost on Kathryn's parents and grandparents - their specifics. Are they on Find A Grave?

RE: Thank You!
I am so sorry for your loss. I could not imagine what you are going through. Although I only know you through this website, I know how much you do for other people and it shows how great of a person you are. You have always had such nice words to me. If there is anything I can do, please just let me know. God Bless you Joyce.

RE: Thank You!
Thank you for your kind words Joyce. I have missed working on my family tree and so now that I am done with school I am hoping to get back into my genealogy and helping others. I have so many pictures, but just did not have time to put them all on. Hopefully I will have Green Hill done by the end of the year. That is the plan anyway. :) Hope you are doing well!!
