Hello to all! |
After many requests to have my cemetery photo's posted on Find A Grave, I have finally signed up!
I am torn as to how much I will submit at this point. People are usually excited to find a relative listed, but I have come across some people that have taken offense. I would be delighted to add someone if I have a relatives ok. Or better yet, if you know I have taken a photo of someone in your line, I could send you the photos so you can submit! I will submit some realtives that I know do not have any descendents, but if you are a distant relative and would like them removed, please contact me! I don't mean to offend anyone! I have followed out many lateral lines. I welcome any comments or further stories about who I have submitted!
My personal reminder to myself as I work family history is to be careful and be patient!

Thanks for your work with the St. Charles Cemetery. We have been trying to find the grave of my great, great grandfather, Jacobus Beaudin (James Beaudin). I don't see him listed, only and Edmund. Did you complie your data from cemetery records, or from actually viewing each head stone? If by headstone, I suppose it's possible it is: buried, was wooden.... Any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Kate. I sent you a separate email a little while back, but wanted to know if it was ok for me to use a few of your headstone photos on my Ancestry Tree. Thanks! Jc
