Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hometown of Hammond, Indiana, near Chicago. I now live in Boise, Idaho. Since July, 2015 I've worked for Cloverdale Funeral home in Boise, ID. Prior, I've been a paramedic since 1978, as an EMS provider, manager, educator, and in communications. I've been photographing cemeteries and grave sites for over 15 years. I have developed a presentation on the art and symbolism of gravestones and cemeteries which I give through the city's Community Education system and at genealogy/ family history conferences, and to various historical groups. I also give historical tours of cemeteries in Boise.

PLEASE USE THE "EDIT" TOOL THROUGH FINDAGRAVE FOR ANY CORRECTIONS OR ADDITIONS. Requests to add obituaries to entries will have them edited to meet F.A.G. guidelines, mentioning no living relatives. If possible, please provide evidence of your edits. I've been burned a few times with inaccurate information.

I'm always available to photograph graves in the Boise/Ada County, Idaho and surrounding areas. My ISP doesn't send me photo requests for some reason, but feel free to e-mail me directly if you have any requests. Before you send me corrections to entries, please make sure it's my entry and not just my photo on the entry.

RE: Martha Vineyard Stark Applegate
I'm sorry you will have to refresh my memory...
If this is Elizabeth Applegate Stark in the Pike co Illinois cemetery...she is my fourth great grandmother, years ago I researched the Applegate Stark family and have established her family (father was Samuel Applegate - much confusion as to her mother's maiden name.) Samuel is the son of Hezekiah Applegate and wife Sarah "Sary" Brittain, my mother and several cousins, one is still living researched the Stark family to a large extent.

sorry for any confusion
line is Morgan long md Martha Stark she was of John Pound Stark and Elizabeth Applegate

Grave entry
Hi I didn't see that you had added John Chrusciel at Arlington Cemetery in Elmhurst. I am new at this Find a Grave entering and I entered his information. Is there a way to merge the record or let me manage it since he's my brother?
Thank you

Do you mind if I use your Find A Grave photo on the cemetery on my Ancestry family tree?

Memorial# 11859767
My name is Kate and I have been putting together a genealogy for my motherís ancestors. I have interspersed various photographs within the text to accent interesting facts about some ancestors. I plan to publish and print hard copy books for my immediate family and their children. I have included the following photo, Percival Lowell Memorial# 11859767, that you posted and I donít want to use it in my book without your explicit permission. I will include your credit with the photograph and Find A Grave in the citations.

Last week a friend of mine who works in the printing industry approached me with an offer to print and bind my book at no charge if I allow the printer to use the content in a sample print run of approximately 100 books. They would not be sold but instead would be distributed to demonstrate digital ink jet technology. I would like to accept this offer, however, I cannot do so without gaining your permission to use your posted photograph.

Would you please grant me permission to use your posted photograph, listed above, in my book.

Thank you for your consideration, please respond at your earliest opportunity.

Good morning David, thanks for finding away to contact me. My e-mail addy is back up. I see what you mean about the add photo's was disabled by Find A Grave. they seem not to need anymore pics. Maybe you can contact them and ask to have one mausoleum pic removed so one of the crypt if you have it can be posted.

The mausoluem only shows one name on the outside R.F PETTIGREW, there really should be some kind of sign as to the others that are inside. I looked all over the outside for several names and then found out, they were inside. if you have pics of the cypts, be nice if you would add them to the memorials.

PETTIGREW Bessie # 15102817
PETTIGREW Harlan # 151106779

you already have Alma # 53264911

RE: Sarah Stephens
Thanks, David. I too had taken photos at Idaho City several years ago and am not able to go out and about so much anymore.

I did let findagrave know that another cemetery has been designated for Pioneer at Idaho City...the same place. Over 200 entries have been added since August and all are duplicates of ones others have put up and/or added photos, etc.

We will see what happens.
