Thank you for the obituary, I've posted it to the memorial page.

RE: Ella Dutsch
Scout did you find that obit by going to the library? Or do you have a means to look up obits from home? I would like to look up a number of obits if I could do it remotely.

Thanks

Evelyn Gill
Sorry I should have given you a date range. I would guess it was published between 1917-1923.

RE: Ella Dutsch
Thanks for posting that obit. It looks like then the Louisiana death index and the obit have the same date. The stone looked fairly new when I visited Ruston last year so I guess a descendant just got it wrong. Too bad.

On a separate note, do you have acesss to the Ruston paper archives at the library?

I have come across a news paper clipping of a poem my grandmother Evelyn Gill wrote when she was a young girl but there is not date on it. I was hoping to find the date of publication so I can know when she wrote the poem.

If you are ever there, can you check for me. Her name again was Evelyn Gill and the poem was titled: "If I Were A Fairy."

Thanks

Wish I lived in Louisiana and could do more local research.

Leo J Hopcroft
Hello - not sure if I've contacted you in the past. I just wanted you to know that even tho the gravestone states 1866 as Leo's birth year - it was actually 1886. I have his birth cert and all the census info in addition to the information from our family. He was my husband's grandfather. Just wondering if you could add that to the info on his memorial site. Thanks so much -- Karin Hopcroft

Charles A Ray
Hello, I noticed you submitted a newspaper clipping on Charles A Ray. Do you have a family connection to him? I think he is my 2nd great grandfather who my family has been looking for, for ages.

Thank you,
Christina Gleave

Hey Scout!

Looks like I had a listing for my uncle just a few days before you did. (It was pointed out to me recently.) I think I have all the info you have on your site. Let me know if I need to add anything else. Please delete the duplicate, after that, if you will. Thanks a bunch! And thanks for all the work you do for this great site!

RE: Question???
Thanks, i looked for the answer for a little bit but then decided i would just ask you since you have been so helpful on other matters. I went on and put it as last name, so good to know my hunch was right. Thanks and have a great weekend.
