Hey Debbie,

I noticed on Josiah Smith's memorial you have death date listed as Jan 5 1920, was just curious where you found that date??

Thanks again cuz

Francis Oliver Towns
Again ... same question, but this time for Francis Towns ... - what paper [Newspaper name, date of publication, vol., #, p.] did this citation come from? Thank you

Thanks for sharing the photo of Alene. Years ago, we shared Duffield family history. It is good to see what she looked like.

RE: Edits
Good. It's tricky. Surprised the heck out of me the first time I saw that little number on the edit tab.

Thanks, Debbie! We'll be hitting St. John's hard in the coming week or two. It shouldn't take long. We essentially cleared the photo requests and recorded a few graves first time in. We'll be going in next to see that everyone who is there has a memorial that is photographed with GPS coordinates.

We really appreciate your help and the fine work you've done there already. Thanks so much! :)

RE: Edits
Notifications are not sent. That's why I sent you a separate message as a heads up. The edits are on your member page. We've sent a lot, and they're all for St. John's in Germantown? You don't see them?

Debbie, you may not be checking in regularly, so you may not realize that edits are piling up for St. John's in Germantown. My husband and I have begun to photograph the memorials there and your name is on quite a few of them. You may want to take a peek in when you have a chance. I know this will get an email to you, whereas the edits just pile higher and deeper! We took a couple hundred photos today and the good news is that they're NOT all yours. :)

Georg Heinrich Scheller
The grave site records from the Russian Federation listing Henry (1877-1941), Phillip (1880-1954), Christina Scheller Wiedeman (1882-1964) and Katharine Schnorr (1888-1975) as Georg Heinrich Scheller's children are not correct.

I am Alexander's great-granddaughter and we purchased records from Russia for Georg Heinrich Scheller (born 1829 in Doenhof) and he had at least 6 children with Katharine Elisabeth Wolf. The first born 1849. The birth dates of the children listed in the Russian Federation grave site records would put Katharine Elisabeth over 50 years of age at their births.

Phillip Scheller (1880 - 1954) was a son of Alexander's older brother Johannes born 3 Mar 1855.

According to the records we purchased Georg Heinrich Scheller's children were Maria Elisabeth (1849), Johann Jacob (1852), Johannes (1855), Eva Elisabeth (1852), Eva Elisabeth (1862) and Alexander 1871.

Arthur Rosenberg
Hi: I believe this might be my grandpa's brother. Was there an actual headstone that mentioned the 'son of W. & M. Rosenberg'? Thank you.
