Bio Photo All the photographs that I take are of the stones "as found". I do not use chalk or any other material to highlight any carvings. I try to achieve the best detail through lighting and digital enhancement.

Don't forget to check the captions of my photos. I often will include notes there.

Please let me know by email if you see any memorials that you would like to manage. Include your member ID number and relationship to the individual. I loosely follow the guidelines of Find A Grave for transfer requests. I really like to see memorials managed by a family member. So contact me if you would like a memorial transferred to you.

Besides exploring old cemeteries I'm also working on my family history. Here are my current "brick walls". Please contact me if you're working on any of these lines or have any leads that I can follow.

Hi Nancy, In 2011 you photographed John's gravestones. I have been struggling trying to read what is inscribed on the tall monument, but can only read "Sophia",Also, I can see that there is something inscribed on the side of the monument. I'm wondering if you keep your photos, and if so, are there any photos that you did not put up?
His wife was Chloe Atwell, and I hope to learn that she is buried there also, and if there are any children there.
Chloe is my 4th great aunt. I do not want the memorial transferred, I am too old. I'm also too old to go to the cemetery, much as I would like to.
Thanks for your dedication.

Would you remove the photo from his page. That is not his plot or headstone. His stone must be missing now. The headstones in the photo are another family. Thank you.

I think this suppose to be Gitty Schermerhorn in East Homer. There is already a memorial to her.

Nancy: Thank you very much for photographing the gravestones of Gilbert Stephen POOLE (b. 1836) [link # 121370732] & Harriet WOODRUFF [link
# 121370764] and their son & daughter-in-law Ernest E. POOLE (b. 1865) [link # 121370814] & Kittie L. FERGUSON [link # 121370844]at New Woodstock Cem, Cazenovia, Madison Co, New York.

One question: are Ernest & Kittie's names enscribed on one side of his parents' gravestone?
