Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been studying my family's genealogy for the last twenty years. All the new research tools on the Internet, such as this site, have greatly increased my enjoyment and productivty. Now that I am retired I am able to spend more time at it and am currently enjoying giving back to this site by adding graves and photos.

My main surnames are: Williams, Reetz, Davis, and Moses. My wife's are: Hansen, Sundall, Hayden, and Wikert.

RE: Email Request
Hi Art,
All these people are buried in Valley View, not St Paul's. I know the records show that they are in a Lutheran cemetery in Graettinger, but there are 2 Lutheran cemetery's. Valley View is both Methodist and Lutheran. I know old Palo Alto county records have them in St Paul's. Evidently when they did all that recording they never physically went out and checked. I have been going over records for Valley View from 1906 till present for updated maps and burial lists. Sorry for the mass mailing. Denise (aka Lucy T)

Art - could you transfer my 2nd great grandmother too. You transferred Hans Christian Enger and I thought I asked for Inge too. I have already added a lot for Hans and will add more.

Hans Christian Enger (# 75567696)
Hi Art - are you related to Hans? If not, Hans is my 2nd great grandfather and I would love to manage his profile if you are willing. I have a lot to enter going all the way back to his birth, baptism, and marriage in Norway.

I already manage his daughter Margaret Enger Monsen (my great grandmother) as you can see when you pull her up

Please let me know.

Mathias Mersch
Thanks Art for adding a picture of the headstone for baby Mathias Mersch. My mother-in-law, Margaret Anna Mersch Anderson, was his sister. The Mersch family moved form West Bend to Eagle Grove in 1934. There were discussions about a baby brother who had been born and buried in West Bend, but no on was positive when he was born or where he was buried. Now, we have proof of his birth and his burial site.
Again, thank you.

Darlene Noll Kramer
Hi, the date posted for Darlene Noll Kramer in Riverside Cemetery, West Bend, Palo Alto, Iowa, are 100 years off--1800 vs. 1900. The picture of her stone reflects the correct dates. Thanks for all your work. Susan Davis
