"LIKE A MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE"|
Essentially, every entry on Findagrave is like a message in a bottle; not the old fashioned kind that was tossed hopefully into the vast and briny sea, but the high tech one that floats out on the ether and can be accessed by thousands of searchers every day. May we make our connections with our ancestors and others like ourselves who are searchers, sentimental rememberers, and guardians of past lives and times.
"Our greatest treasure is our family, not only the warm circle around the Christmas tree, but all those whose lives gave us life, and those who will carry our love into the future." (Anonymous)
Any corrections/additions, please use EDIT tab on far right hand corner of the memorial. If I have created memorials for ANY of your family and or ancestors and you would like a transfer, please let me know and will happily transfer them to you.
Happy Genealogy Trails.

Hi. Thank you for adding a photo to his page.
|Constance Stanton||Cadman Memorial, Dixon Cemetery, Solano County|
Several months ago I found the memorial for George Cadman, his wife Susanna (died 1886), and their two young daughters, Emma and Jane, who died within 3 days of each other in November 1876. You had taken a picture of their large grave maker (....thanks for that....). At that point there was also a memorial for another daughter, listed as "Susie" Cadman (1875-1900). The 1900 census was enumerated on 7 June 1900, listing Susanna Cadman (age 25) with her father, George) and her stepmother, Mary E. The memorial stated she died on 30 June 1900. Apparently, Susie's memorial has been removed since last I checked. I was wondering if you could shed any light on why it was removed. Did she not die then? Also if you have any knowledge of what happened in 1876 to cause two small children to died in close proximity. Susanna Nuttall Cadman, first wife of George, was my grx2 aunt. Thank you, Constance Stanton
