I believe the ones who have left this life need to be remembered however great or small. Findagrave is a great place to do that with a memorial for them. Linking a family together is truly a great thing to do. Although optional I believe a photo of their marker, a photo of the person, or a little information about the person really adds to the memorial. A flower, flag, ribbon or a note also adds to the memorial.|
A lot of the information I enter is from death certificates, from birth indexes, from census records, and from social security death indexes. Some of this information can be wrong. If you find any errors let me know. I want correct information. If you see duplicate memorials let me know. If you have any information about the people I have entered that you want me to add let me know. If you want a person linked to their parents or spouse let me know.
NOTE: Please use the edit button in the upper right hand corner of the memorial page to send corrections, additional information and link requests. This makes it so much easier for me to add it this way. Thank you for your help with this.
You can use my photos on your family trees. I used to think differently about that but as I get older I see things a little differently now. They are just photos but they can mean a lot to people who can't get to where their family members are resting.
May God bless all those who have helped me with information for the memorials I have entered. If I have offended anybody let me know and I will try to make it right. May God bless everyone who is dedicated to adding memorials to Findagrave. Its not about numbers but about remembering each and every person who has lived. These memorials are not our memorials, they belong to Findagrave. We are just contributors who add the memorials and information and then manage them. Thank you Findagrave for the greatest website on the internet and for letting us be a part of this great website.

Thanks for all the efforts Julious! Are you around Rockingham? This is the wife of my gg Grandfathers brother Daniel James Richardson per marriage bond/license and the only direct connection to their family I can locate on Find A Grave. 11 Richardsons on 1870 census and I can only locate wife Ruth Alice. Let me know if you are close to there.

Julious, I have photo's of both of above grave markers that Norma Baugh has asked me to post on the Polson Cemetery off Emma Rd. in Patrick Find A Grave web page. I have tried to add them to the cemetery write-ups but I guess you have to do that since you created them.
Please let me know what I need to do to get the grave markers shown on Find-A-Grave. May I forward the photo's to you so you can add them. Norma may want to become the owner of this graveyard since it is her relatives.
Please let me know something. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. You know me, Miriam Goodale
|A.Villanueva.||Info. re. Bethel cemetery|
I am trying to find out a contact person for the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery located in
Wadesborob Anson County North Carolina. I live in California and I have a friend who passed away and has a grave stone with his name in this cemetery. I found the grave stone and the cemetery in your website. I have been unable to find an address or a phone number for this cemetery. I would appreciated if you could provide me with a phone number or an e-mail of a contact person who could provide me with the information needed to follow my friend's last wishes. I would appreciate any help you can provide.

Thank you and thank you for all you are doing. There is quote from an unknown source I have always liked.
"Nobody truly dies. As long as you are remembered, you will still exist. If someone remembers you, you will never truly be dead".
Again, thank you for your kindness and dedication to all our memories.
kind regards, Deedie

Thank you for the information you have posted on my family - Holden Calvin Gaddy (and his father) and Sadie Virginia Weaver Gaddy. These are my grandparents and very special.
I want to thank you for putting in your effort to keep and maintain these Find A Grave's.
I broke my arm and shoulder from a bicycling accident in February. While I was recovering I rediscovered genealogy. The information you have on the Massey family is a god send. (My mom is a Massey.) It also appears the Rivers, Hurst and Gulledge"s as well. The connections to family members is outstanding. I had done genealogy in the past but it was the old-fashioned way, had about 230ish names. With find-a-grave I have 5 times that amount and counting. You are a big part of things making sense. Again much appreciated.

Thank you for accepting my bio sketch
for my 4-greats grandfather. I have been
studying his history for the past 50 years.
I wrote one chapter in the book "John Chapman, Thomas Powe and Related Families," by Elsie Chapman Edmonds, 1971. I certainly understand your wish to hold with the birth date on the stone. I once drove 700 miles just to take a picture of that stone, myself. Thomas Powe's descendants coming down from the wagon train of 1811 to Mississippi, fill a very thick book. His people literally pioneered much of the southeast. I am humbled that you would let my bio stand on the memorial. Thank you so very much. Mr. Bob 47108218

|Barbara Hall||RE: Turnage's|
I WENT TO IT ONCE, MANY YEARS AGO AND IT WAS ON LAND OWNED BY Gardeners.
I think it was close to Shiloh. Very small. In the woods.
If you happen to run across it please let me know and thank you once again.
Do you know where the Turnage family cemetery is in Teals Mill or right outside of Chesterfield?
