Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in my genealogy back in Middle school when we had to find out what our surname meant and make a coat of arms. I couldn't find any info on my surname because it turns out it was an Americanized version. Now I have tons of branches. :)

Hit me up if we are possibly related.. :)

I have two groups on FB for cousins on two of my major lines. I also have a profile on WikiTree: Shockey-96

If I manage a memorial that is in your family I'll be happy to transfer it to you as long as it's not also my family. :)

I apologize if anyone has emailed me or left a message below. I have been away several years from genealogy and am trying to get back into it despite my busy schedule.

Sarah Ann Moore Clark

So, I went back and looked at the census records for any David Clark born in Kentucky, living in Missouri. I did find him with a Mary on the 1850 census, a daughter Sarah the correct age and listed with them was a "Mrs. Tillery, age 60".

He continued to be listed with the family through 1880 census, even lived in Texas on one of those census before returning to Missouri.

I have not seen a death record for him, but imagine he's buried somewhere in Clay or Ray county. If you have more info on him that can be added here, then let me know.

My primary interest is the Clark family.

Sarah Ann Moore Clark

According to Sarah's death certificate, she was the daughter of a David Moore & Sarah Tillery, both born in Kentucky. Without some other document, how do we know the Mary Moore you mentioned was her mother?

Robert J. Clark Jr. Memorial
Yes, I dealt with the issue when I first received the memorial. It's odd his death certificate shows his age, which corresponds with a birth in 1867, yet he did not show up with the family on the 1870 census.

I also don't take the gravestone dates as gospel either, as many have been show to be mistaken.

But on the 1900 census, he shows up as age 23, again something I don't take as gospel, as well as parents marriages, since some of those ancestors had babies, then married.

I did change it to 1887, since there were more supporting documents for that date....weird, eh!

Thanks for the input.

John Treat Warren
Hello! I have emailed you about a person but I am not sure that you received it.

I am looking for information on Dorothy Clontz. She was married to John Treat Warren as a second husband from everything I can find. It would appear that she was first married to my great uncle Alfred in 1944 in Mecklenburg, North Carolina. They divorced somewhere along the lines and their son, Charles passed away in 1975. I see on your RootsWeb site that you have Alfred and Charles listed. Is Dorothy still alive? Thanks in advance for your help.
