I'm retired, have been doing genealogical research for the past 20 years, primarily in Darlington County, SC. Most all of the memorials I've added are of relatives of my wife, who is from the Lamar area of the county. Many are "distant" relatives. If you are related to anyone that I've added, and would like to add a bio, picture, or other info to the memorial I would very much appreciate the help. If you are closely related to the individuals, within Findagrave guidelines (siblings, parents, grandparents, or great-grand parents) and would like management privileges transferred to you please let me know.|

hi, i would like to know if you any other information on this person? I think she might be the daughter of my grandfathers sister Estelle Johnson.I have my grandfather obit and it list his sister as Mrs. Estelle Wells of Darlington. My grandfather passed away in 1942 when my dad was 10.I have been in search for any members of his family who might still be alive.I see that you have attached to Fannie her parents and a grave marker with Ida Wells.I found her with the name of Leila Johnson in 1910.My aunt who had a sister name Leila Estelle and I was told she was named after my grandfahter sister. In fannnie Obit it list mother as Estelle Johnson Wells.I hope you will be able to give me some information that will able me to make some contact with some distant or not so Distant relatives.

The information you added is wrong and needs to be changed.
Her Father.. William J Etheridge
Birth 1842 Georgetown, SC.. Death.. 15 April 1863. Civil War, Morris Island
Her Mother.. Alice Bailey Etheridge Alford 1843-1880's Death Marion County, SC.
Her daughter Mattie Jane Stokes Taylor is my paternal grandmother. I hope this won't be a problem for you. What you added really sounded like a newspaper article but it is wrong. If you notice on her Death certificate it notes her father died in the Civil War. Thank you, Sybil Taylor Dixon

I have an old bible and book that belonged to my grandmother. I am directly related to the Gainey's in Antioch Baptist Cemetery. Any info would help, thank you.
I am related to a lot of the Gainey's in the Antioch Church Cemetery. My grandmother was a Gainey before marrying my grandfather who was also a Gainey but neither of the families connected. I have a lot of info that I would like to share and more that I am missing and could use for my own research. Thank you
