Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an active Blue Star Mother. Both of my sons that served are now Veterans, but there will always be a Soldier, Sailor, Marine or Airman who will need a "mom".

I enjoy genealogy. In the last sixteen years we've planned some vacations around research & seen some lovely areas in the country at the same time.

I also rescue antique photos that have ID on them. I post them on the net and look for family members to send them to. Some of them I've been able to post on FAG memorials. If you Facebook, check out my page called: Rescued Family Treasures. If you check it out please "Like" the page while you're there.

Quoting a fellow graver: "I believe the most important part of this website is the sharing of information and not how many are mine to maintain. A transfer will be done unless it is my family or a person of strong interest to me, all you need to do is ask. If you notice an error in my postings please let me know or if more info is available. Thanks to all that contribute"

Thank you for the words of my heart Kennetta.

Meet my parents:
Jay B. Junior Londo & Linda Lou Ketchum Londo .

Two of my favorite musical compositions:
Le Chancon de Claudine and
Classical Gas , both by Mason Williams.

Dear Ancestor

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marbled stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I'd exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
and come to visit you.

Added cute newspaper article about your 3rd great grandfather. I have his death as 1901. Memorial has 1900. The article appears in Sep 1900 and was also in a Muskegon paper.

RE: Lucy May Vanderhoof Guy
Yes, Lucy is related to the former governor of Colorado, John Dennis Vanderhoof, they would be cousins. Lucy's father, George Vanderhoof was the son of Dennis Lee Vanderhoof and Lucy May Ford and two other sons, Luther Dennis and Verner A. Their son Luther Dennis had three sons and two daughters and it was his son Roy Elvin who fathered John Dennis Vanderhoof. If you want to give me the name of your relative I'll check our family history for more information. Kay

RE: Lucy May Vanderhoof Guy
Yikes, I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to reply. Yes I am related to Lucy May Vanderhoof Guy. She would be my 1st cousin once removed I think. My father, Theodore Franklin Hay, was the son of Charles F Hay & Mary May Vanderhoof. Mary Vanderhoof being the sister of George Vanderhoof, Lucy's father. Where do you fit into the family?

James Mackoy Robertson
It is nice to know that such a good friend is taking care of his memorial on Find A Grave. Mack was my mother's first cousin. Mack's father, Earl Robertson was a brother to my grandfather Royal Blaze Robertson from Honeytown, Jackson Co., Indiana.

I did not know of Mack's passing until I found his Memorial on Find A Grave. I have several letters that Mack and his wife exchanged with my mother, mostly at Christmas time. I did not see a link to any memorial, so if you are able to speak with his wife or children, tell them Phyllis Robertson Flynn's children want to say hello, and sorry for their loss. My mother, Phyllis passed in 2005, and there is a Memorial # 26475681. Mack's Uncle Royal "Jack" is # 57146176. Please tell them that 3 of Phyllis's daughters (myself included) still own the Robertson farm where their grandfather was born and I am certain they have visited on more than one occasion. I have contact info I would share if they are interested.

Respectfully, and thank you for all you do at Find A Grave.
