RE: I think the photo's on! hi Sue srry for not replying but my health isnt the best, im on dialysis & awaiting a double transplant, the dialysis really tires me out & it takes a real effort to get upto canley to lay flowers where my girlfriends ashes are.
yes it is Toms Dads grave next to his, Toms Gravestone was commisioned by his wife & is in marble & must have cost a small fortune when it was made, I've actually seen a picture of Tom's coffin just before it was lowered, the cemetary was packed out with apparently around a couple of thousand people there ! I do have various photos of Toms Grave & will try to scan them & put them on, when I figure out my new scanner, if you want to contact me my email address is; firstname.lastname@example.org hope your ok, take care H
RE: Headstone photo Hello Sue, sorry for the delay in replying, with this site I have noted that people put pics of famous celebs graves up on here, as well as normal run of the mill folk, I cant see why not, a pic of toms grave would be nice, to show people how much Tom was loved & respected by his family friends & fans, my best mate Robert Arnold's ashes are scattered at the same cemetery but his are parallel with the car park, as you park, hes virtually straight in front of you but about 10 rows, I go up to lay flowers on his birthday his death & always wander over to Tom, marble now is God knows how much, his wife commissioned the statue so only she knows how much it cost. I hope you are well & we have a chance to talk again. kind regards H (Paul)
Toms Gravestone hi Sue, I have quite a few photos of Toms grave, I was told I was distantley related to him by my uncle Reg Farndon, I have seen plenty of gravestones so cant see why one as magnificent as Toms isnt on show, I saw an old paper that showed his funeral cortege before the stone was comissioned, id like to upload some of the photos but dont know how to ! my late girlfriend put the images on the site that you see at the moment, hope that is off some help, kind regards Paul
