I was born in Wyandotte, Michigan and I am the second oldest of ten children. My Father was in the US Air Force and we traveled extensively in the US. I also lived in Japan and Labrador. I am retired and living in Asheville, NC. I just love the mountains and lakes. I am very interested in my ancestry and am willing to help anyone that I can.

William Sanford photo request You are receiving this message because you have submitted a photo request for the above named person(s). I wanted to let you know that I will be traveling to that area from Dallas during the first week of June and I would be able to get the requested photo(s) for you. I do need some help from you tho. While I am in the Chicago area, I intend to get as many names off the list for Evergreen Cemetery as possible. The list is growing every day and is now at 263 requests! Evergreen Cemetery is near and dear to my heart as I have several of my own family members there. If you would please call the cemetery office and obtain the burial plot locations and send them to me, I will for sure get them for you when I go there in June. If everyone could get me the locations I could really get a lot of requests done but I can't do it alone! The office number for Evergreen Cemetery is 708-422-9051. You can leave me a public message with the information, or you may email me at firstname.lastname@example.org Please be sure to reference the requested names. Thank you!
Schellings If you want the other Schellings that you didn't list, who are in the same area, let me know. I have Schelling Main Headstone, Charles Henry 1870, George R 1899, George Reddy 1874, and John C.S.A. soldier
John Schelling I found a John Schelling with the other family members, but he was a C.S.A. Soldier. I found Lillie in an entirely different area from the rest of the Schellings, so I figure John must be somewhere else.
RE: Jacob and Marie Schirck My source is the original vital records from Bas-Rhin Archives in Alsace, France which are online: http://etat-civil.bas-rhin.fr/adeloch/index.php
In there are the births, marriages and deaths from Muttersholtz and other communities in the Bas-Rhin section of Alsace. These include the Protestant church records from before 1793 and the civil records from 1793 onward. Don't be thrown by the French spelling of their names in some records. This is how a French speaking clerk wrote their names. I usually go by their signatures which are usually in the old style German longhand they used back then.
