Bio and Links
Bio Photo Just started looking into my family tree, but was fortunate enough to have other family members who were interested in the task before me. My family is mostly from the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton area and I'm eager to learn as much as I can about them.

FAMILY NAMES : Borkowski, Gardner, Kagler, Lesawicz, McAfee, Mulherin, Smurl, Tingley, Wasilewski, Yanovitch

CURRENT PROJECT : Done adding members of Monument Cemetery in Beverly, N.J. Now I need to finish photographing.

PET PEEVE : Burial Unknown. This site is FIND a GRAVE, and even though its data base is a great genealogical resource, populating it with burial unknowns is not helpful. If you know where a person is laid to rest, add them, if not- don't. Out of the thousands I've added only two are unknown- because one was cremated and the ashes were given to a family member, the other the body was donated to science.

PHOTOS : I generally allow useage; but I think it's courteous to ask first. If you're rude, don't expect a possitive response. Remember- the volunteers are doing YOU the favor.

EDITS/TRANSFERS : Use the Edit tab for the memorial in question. This is what it was designed for. I don't understand why people make extra work for themselves (leaving the memorial page to find the memorial caretaker's page to write a request) and for the person who needs to do the edits/transfers (they have to search their memorials to hopefully find the correct one YOU'RE talking about and if it's a transfer- track down the id number of the person it should go to.) PLEASE BE SPECIFIC I am receiving generic edits which contain a lot of information but no clear direction on what you want me to do with it. If it's a relationship link- use that edit tab etc. otherwise, it will not be dealt with- I have a job and a life outside of Find A Grave, I am willing to maintain the memorials made, but you have to meet me half way. I will not answer any requests left on my wall or in the flowers- so be kind and follow the rules of the site. Also, what was said about photos applies here, the edit tab is to suggest edits- demanding I change something will be seen as rude and will be ignored.

RE: Benjamin Richards, Memorial # 117163128

Thank you. I will look into it to add it to my documentation.

Benjamin Richards, Memorial # 117163128
I am researching burials at Stratford Cemetery in Taylor, Pennsylvania. I found the above memorial that you entered in September 2013. He was born and died in 1905, according to your entry. I have not been able to find any reference to him through online research.

Could you tell me the documentation you used to prove this is a valid entry in this cemetery? Also, if a valid entry, would you know the names of his parents? I have a couple of Richards on the list of interments and plot owners who have unnamed children listed as with them. I think Benjamin may be one of these.

Goho memorials
Can you make your suggested changes on the edit tab of the specific memorial? That way I can be sure to get the accurate memorials.
Thank you for the correction.

RE: Photo Of Tombstone of Margaret Chapman
Again, thank you so much. The name Creedon does not mean anything to me . I have never been able to find anything about Margaret at all. I did find ( just now) baptismal record for a Margaret Creedon , parents listed as Daniel Creedon and Mary Sheehan. Dates are a little off, but it is certainly a possibility. Gives me a new starting point; I am delighted! I am pretty sure that tha Margaret that you found is my great- grandmother. Based on census records, I believe that she died in childbirth or soon after. The family did live in Tamaqua at that time. You are so good to do this !
