Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy work for over 25 years with brief intervals of inactivity when my life took different turns.

I love going to all the old cemeteries in South Georgia marveling at some of the old tombstones, some of which are quite elaborate and expensive even for that period of time, and thinking about how our ancestors lived. Since my husband and I shared so many ancestors (including at least three great-great-great grandfathers), it was an easy task getting information about our "kinfolk".

When my husband of nearly 40 years passed away in 2002 my enthusiasm for genealogy waned somewhat and I did little research for a couple of years; then I found the FindAGrave website and entered a few memorials. I absolutely love entering memorials and posting pictures of tombstones for so many of the South Georgia cemeteries which I have helped "survey" over the years thus enabling so many people access to this information. I especially like being able to link families and consider this one of the most important features of FindAGrave.

I believe when entering genealogy information one should always be open to criticism in order to get information as accurate as possible -- especially when it is posted on the internet for so many thousands of people to view. Though complete accuracy is so hard to achieve I will always strive for accuracy.....should anyone find incorrect information on any of my memorials please do not hesitate to advise. However, please keep in mind that other contributors have possibly given me incorrect information.

Parents are grandparents
Hi Barbara, I have just started researching our family. I see you have posted my grandson grave site and information. He is Christopher Dale McDaniel. His birth date is Aug 29,1977. He was born on my husband birthday. He died Sept 2,1977. The parents that are listed are his paternal grand parents. His daddy is their son Terry McDaniel and he was married to my daughter, Sandra Faye White McDaniel. I would love to get this corrected. Thanks Oh yes he is buried in the Douglas Cemetery
