After discovering Find A Grave, I've become hooked. It's so true: "you can't do just one."|
If you have any corrections, links or additions, let me know through the "edit" tab which is on the top right of the memorial page. I try to be perfect, but so far....:o(
Please feel free to use any of my cemetery or headstone photos for whatever purpose.
TRANSFERRING Management: To be fair to all, I follow Find-A-Grave's guidelines.
"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren."
Just use the "edit" tab and let me know how you are related and your FAG contributor number.
RESEARCHING: I am looking for parents and/or siblings of Austin Goodwin Broton [aka Broughton, Brotton, Button] (1856-1946). He's my great grandfather and a bit of a mystery. His mother was a Goodwin, born in Scotland and died in New York about 1870...we think.
Most importantly...have fun!

Hi -- I have an article about the retirement of Lee Young, a locomotive engineer. He lived at 2349 Blaine Avenue in Salt Lake City. It's from a 1955 railroading magazine. If this is your grand uncle, let me know and I'll email a copy of the article to you. Regards, Phyllis

Your welcome & it was my pleasure to leave flowers for your loved ones. I must have found her & your family on the Find-A-Grave cemetery scroll. I want to thank you for the kind words about my son & leaving him a flower. It means so much to me.
Have a great week end

Thanks. Unlike some other photos I see here, I like to show some grass or leaves or some greenery around the marker. I think that enhances the picture. Just the cropped grave marker isn't as "friendly" or visually appealing, in my opinion.
