Bio and Links
Bio Photo I grew up in Stark County, Ohio, so am interested in Lavy, Hoover, Weyand, Clapper, Singer, Loehr and Shearer family history in NE Ohio. My wife Cheryl's maiden name is Miller from Huntington County, IN, so also interested in Chamness, Durnbaugh and Baumbauer families of Indiana.

We've been in VA for 30 years now. I'm interested in Genealogy, philately, Victorian advertising trade cards, and herbal medicine.

I see that you photographed the grave of George A Yancey - earlier this year. THANK YOU. Because of the condition of the marker it is hard to read.
you seem to have thought the birth date was 1897
- but family record show 1887.

I was wondering if you might be able to visit marker one last time and try to ascertain physically what the full transcription is and if it seems to be 1887 or 1897.

Dennis
