Researching Jones, Foster, Mathews, Mathis, Pardue, Barnett, Lemons, Lemmons, Davenport, Watson, Green, Long, Bird, Arp, Presley, Pressley, Thomas, Lebbo, Blanton, Halfmoon & Heady families.

I welcome contacts with anyone researching the same families. I try to correct any inaccuracies on memorials when pointed out as long as the requests are not rude. I am also working on photo requests for the older cemeteries nearby since this area holds so much early history.

John Lemons
Monroe Cemeteries Records do not show him as being buried here. When I get a chance I will recheck the cem. My grandmother was a Lemons from Meigs Co Tn--do you have any relatives there?

RE: Clayton & Sarah
Your welcome.
They are my husband's family too. But they married into his family and aren't direct line.

Washie Arp(George Washington Arp)

Washie Arp is my husbands father and BM Arp his grandfather. My husband is James Carra Arp(JC Arp)
He had a half bother who passed away, George Arp (JR) and Geo had two son Dan and Ron. Jim has two brothers, Donald and Jerry Arp. Also I was told there is also a half brother Bob Arp.We where just in TN and found the grave of Washie Arp and several other Arps. Jim and I are really interested in the history of the Arp family but it is so hard to find anything out since so many have passed away. Also I was told BM Arp(Bud) was a US Marshall in TN. I sure would like you to get back to me Angela and know also how you and your family are related to Washie Arp.. My email is
Thank you
Mary Arp

J M Foster #70298150
I found a James Henderson Dobbins (1863-1901) who married Nancy Ann Beets (1863-1945), but since both of them were born in 1863 - the same year as J M Foster, it still doesn't make any sense for them to be JM's parents.

Is it possible that the info could have been on a different line in the register? I do believe that the JH Dobbins is James Henderson Dobbins and the NA is Nancy Ann Beets, but they can't be parents of JM Foster. Perhaps some other relationship?
