I encourage anyone with an interest in the Yerian/Yerion/Yarian/Yearian/Yaryan etc family, all descendants of Matthias Irion (1702-1763), to contact me and exchange information.
Similarly the descendants of Moses Winters (1728-1822).

Any transfer request should have a good reason, but so should any transfer denial. The best guidelines are kindness and cooperation.

RE: Charles Abarta
You are welcome Carl!
We had good fortune on our side, because I was just strolling through one of the older sections at Calvary. As I was leaving I looked down and saw Charles' marker and quickly realized his name was on the photo request list for Calvary.(there are over 500 photo requests there) This was the second time something like this has happened to me!

Arnold Yerian
Hi Carl, I had added a memorial for Arnold to the cemetery near me and as always I research each person I photograph the grave of, during my research, I located your memorial on I see it's an unknown burial, this would explain the difficulty in knowing a memorial exists. I will go ahead and delete mine and add my photo to yours, Please move your memorial to Roosevelt Memorial Park in Gardena, CA.
Best regards, Jerry

No Problem. FindaGrave has been so helpful to me that I plan to sponsor several memorials every year as a way to say thank you.

Do you know who is monitoring the Rogers gravesites? According to the 1850, 1860 and 1870 census records Jane Rogers birth year should be 1800-1802 KY, not 1812 IN. Thank you.

RE: Bollingers-Charles and Stella
Do you know anything about Charles Bollinger's parents. Oliver P Bollinger is his father. Both of Charles' parents and birthplaces and their parents are unknown.
Oliver and Margaret are as far back as I can trace this family. Any help and information would be greatly appreciated.

Bollingers-Charles and Stella
The Apollo Cemetery records were destroyed in a fire at the Apollo Bank in 1960. Those with headstones were recorded.
There was only one other cemetery in Apollo. It was the Presbyterian cemetery. Those graves were relocated...most to the Apollo Cemetery Also known as the Riverview Cemetery.
King Brother Funeral Home closed. Their records are at Curran-Schaffer Funeral Home in Apollo. 724-478-1244. I have called them and they are researching the quest. They are not sure if their records go back that far.
The interesting part of "Where are Charles and Stella" is ...Charles was the local Pharmacist for 55 years he retired in December and died a few months later.
Stella was the daughter of T.A. Cochran and Martha Jackson. Both of her parents came from "Good" families.
Why can the headstones not be located??? Were they made of stone that can no longer be read? OR did the family "wait for another time" to purchase headstones?
For the time being...I hope to let them "Rest in Peace" in the Apollo Cemetery. The FindAGrave site can be edited if we find them elsewhere.
Anything you can do to help solve this quest is WELCOME.
