James A Dunnavant
Hello--

I wrote the note at the bottom of this page to Bea & Van, who manage the Find-A-Grave memorial for James A Dunnavant. She said "More than likely I got that information from Scott Hutchison. He posted a note under the 'Add Flowers' on Mr. Dunnavant's memorial. I would contact him. Sorry I could't be of more help."

So I'm hoping you can read the note below and perhaps help us with any additional info, or photos, or anything...

Thank you very much.

What I asked them last week:

SUBJECT--JAMES A DUNNAVANT (Ocran Cemetery)
Sent July 26, 2015

Hi,
My wife and I have several relatives buried in Ocran Cemetery in Dinwiddie County VA, and naturally have picked up on the nearby marker and information on Find-A-Grave for James A Dunnavant. It turns out he may well be in a photograph we have of the members of Ocran Church taken in 1917, so we're seeking whatever we can find on him, and/or to possibly uncover a photo for comparison. We're wondering where you were able to find his birth and death information as well as other family data that is on his Find A Grave page... and if you could point us in that direction. Anything you might be able to pass on would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim Graham

Yes, one is in Singers Glen, although church no longer stands. The other is in the Broadway/Timberville area near Cootes Store, church still standing and in use. They are both on Find A Grave. They are maybe 10 miles apart. I've been to both and taken pictures at both. The historical society listing of burials in both is here -

America Markham Watson
Hi Scott,
I was hoping you would know the death date for America. Also if she too is buried in the Watson Family Cemetery?
Thanks, Heather
