May I use the grave marker photo that you contributed to the memorial page of Henry Pearse, to post on the Vermont C.W.site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

Hi Becky - A quick note. I think that the narrative for Myrtle Westfall Whitney (memorial # 19694045) says that her husband, Charles Danvers Whitney (memorial # 19693143) died on 8 Jun 1964. His grave marker, however, claims that he died on June 9, 1964. Thought you might appreciate the "heads-up".

Thanks for your Find-a-Grave work. Oren Gates is a member of my maternal lines, but I'm not seeking a transfer as he's not that close a relative; more of a collateral line. I'm working on resolving dates for some of those individuals. I've discovered that your entry #98198062 dated 3 October 2012 may very well be a duplicate of an earlier entry for Oren Gates #44250186 dated 12 November 2009. As such, it would be necessary to delete your entry as a duplicate. If you have other information that would say they are not duplicates, then both should stay.

Are you part of this Abney family?

You have supplied much detailed information regarding the Bruce family of 19th century Ripley County, Indiana. Are you a descendent of this family? I'm looking for information regarding a granddaughter of Stephen S.

|Linda Sapiro Moon||Aaron Sapiro|
I was surprised to see this obituary for Aaron Sapiro, my grandfather, who died in 1959. It appears to have been written then -- apparently not by you. Much of the information is incorrect so I am sorry that it was reprinted on-line.
Aaron Sapiro was not a "labor lawyer." After years as a Farm Cooperative Organizer and representative of cooperatives, he became a criminal attorney. He was also not "linked to Al Capone." Al Capone was indicted at the same time as Aaron Sapiro in Chicago, but they were never associated and Aaron Sapiro did not represent Al Capone.
He sued Henry Ford for libel against HIM, not the "Jewish Religion." Ford printed multiple libelous articles about Aaron Sapiro in Ford's newspaper, the Dearborn Independent. They were vicious attacks against Sapiro because Sapiro was a Jew and Ford was voraciously anti-Semitic.
I would appreciate your correcting the information.

Thank you for letting me know I made 2 memorials on Roy Beets. I have deleted the newest.
|Debbie Smith Shaffer||Joseph Smith|
Thank you for so promptly answering my request to link Joseph with his parents. Are you a descendant? If so, from which son of Joseph and Anne? I descend from older brother Benjamin.
Thank you again,
Debbie Smith Shaffer

Thank you. They have a lovely marker, which is in exceptionally good shape for its age. I was pleasantly surprised to see how pretty it is.
