Bio Photo If any of the entries I have listed are incorrect or you would like a family entry transferred, please email me.

Born in MA, I've lived in CT since 1959. I began genealogy research in 1979 because my maternal great grandmother was also a Lemay and I wanted to know about "my big brother" born premature 20 Nov. 1944 and lived only 7 hours. I am researching my Boston Irish, colonial, & Fr/ Can heritage: Brule, Jarvis, Gervais, Hannon, McDermott, Flanders, Gallup, more.

Thank you for the edit. I am a descendant of a branch of the family that left New England for the Midwest.

Thank you (20 years later)
Hi Diane,

I was just going through old papers, as I gradually update my genealogy into Family Tree Maker, and I came across an email from you I'd printed out long ago. Way back in 1995 you helped look up some family history information for me at the Mass Archives. The information you found and carefully typed out into an email to you solved a difficult roadblock in my research. I don't recall if I ever thanked you for the great kindness you provided a complete stranger. So, thank you so much!

Sincerely,

Oliver

ALL CAPS
the findagrave rules do not want you to use ALL CAPS in any field. Her is the actual section:
Memorial Naming Conventions
If a hyphen or an apostrophe is part of the name, use the punctuation.
A period should be used after names where only an initial is known. If the full name is known, use the full name and not the initial.
No other punctuation should be used within any Name Field.
Full capitalization (ALL-CAPS) of names should not be used in any Name Field.
Suffixes and Prefixes do not belong in any Name Field.

Diane, thanks so much for filling my 5 photo requests for Diana, George, Lovina, Sumner & Jerome PEASE. Also, the unreadable name at the top of that headstone is " Nelson C. " - so if you'd add your photo to his memorial, you can claim/fulfill that request also. Thanks, again!

Could you tell me what cemetery he is in? I have been working on a few and don't recall where he is. Thanks Sue
