I have been doing genealogy for the last fifteen years. The main names I am researching are Abernathy, Coley, Higgins, Howell, Knight, Ledford, Roach, Moss, Whitmore, and Williams.|
My other hobby is photography. I take photos of everything from cemeteries to concerts.
If you see any of my photos that are very tiny (ie. the size of a postage stamp), please let me know. Several years ago, the Find A Grave website had a weird glitch that made dozens and dozens of my photos the size of a thumbnail pic. I did not upload these tiny pictures. If you will let me know, I can hopefully replace them with a normal size picture.
Please note that I don't have editorial control over memorials that are listed as famous. If changes or corrections need to be made, please contact the Find A Grave admins.
I have created a website dedicated to my family cemetery, the Old Macedonia Cemetery of Bartow County. You can find it by following the link below.
And please be aware that just because I have taken a cemetery photo, it does not mean that I operate the cemetery or have anything to do with the cemetery. I only took a photograph.
Any photos that were taken by me may be used on genealogy websites such as ancestry.com. You have my permission. All I ask is that I am given photography credit.

|Lucille Renfroe||Foster unmarked graves????|
Hi, I wonder if you could help me. I am looking for the graves of my ancestor, Kimmie Foster (dob-1843-dod-1816) and he was listed as last living in Morgan County, GA. I so wonder if he could possibly be buried there in the Old Madison Cemetery in an unmarked grave. Could you or someone help me? Thanks for ANY help you might provide me.

FEBRUARY 21, 2004, You documented Riverview Cemetery in Canton, Cherokee County, Georgia. The Jones' family plot that you took an extra photo of shows, I believe, 10 markers. I can only account for 6 of the individuals. I was hoping you can look through your photographs of the trip and see if you have all of the individuals documented. I have gone through all of the Jones' that are indexed for Riverview and have identified: Robert Tyre Jones Sr, Susie Walker Jones (spouse), Lilly Coggins Jones (spouse), May Reynolds Jones (daughter), Bailey Jones (daughter?) and Horace Jones (son). The gravemarkers are a unique shape and size and none of the other Jones' indexed--even those that are related--have the same style markers as the 10 in the JONES family plot that I'm trying to identify. For example, in the background of Susie Walker Jones' photo (Memorial# 8422935)there is another gravestone that looks like the death date reads May 10 1896? or maybe 1898 but I cannot locate anyone for that date. Are you able to identify the markers within that family plot with your photographs? If so, can you please provide names and dates of individuals that I have not yet identified? Thank you.

Hello, I see you created the memorials for James H & Elizabeth Poe Smith, buried in Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Are you by any chance a descendant? If so, could you please write me at firstname.lastname@example.org? If not, and you know any of their descendants living today, could you put me in touch with them?
|Farm girl||Thank you|
Thank you for your consideration in transferring the memorials for my great-grandparents, Caleb (8259726) and Della (8259727)Hufstetler to me.
Thank you for your work in creating the memorials for them. It will be my special honor to continue that work and make this a special tribute to them.

Hello, I am the GG Granddaughter of William Butterworth 1849-1938 #10720617 buried at New Bethel Church in Acworth. His name is listed on his stone as W.D. and in our family the records for his middle name is "Decatur". It's listed on this site as "Dakota". I am curious as to which is correct. Would you please check your records and let me know what you find? Thank you, Peggy Travis

|Amanda H.||John Clark Dunaway, #10648960|
I am a rookie into searching my family's history, only about 3 weeks into this.
I believe I have found a typo in the birth year of whom I believe to be my GGG grandfather, John Clark Dunaway (#10648960).
I clicked on the "edit" tab and entered the correction, but I wanted to message you the source where I have the correction.. I'm not sure if that's what I'm supposed to do. It's from the http://www.gabartow.org/Cem/cem.MtCarmel.shtml spreadsheet and there is also a hyperlink in his name that will take you to their image of his CSA Veteran marker showing the correct year.
Is there any other documentation that you need me to find to help you make this correction? Please let me know.
I plan a trip back to that cemetery to take photos of any grave markers I can find for him and his wife.
Thanks so much for all that you have done in Bartow County!!
