|Lana Carter||George Thomas Boardman 1876-1936 - Grissard Cemetery|
I received the request for a photo of this headstone since I volunteer to do so in this area; however, I checked the listing for this Cemetery, and found this Gentleman listed twice; the first time was in 2011 with no headstone photo (Memorial #68160124); and second time right under it with a photo and info on this Gentleman's headstone and vital info (Memorial ## 88527096). Also, it listed his wife's info, and on hers, it listed children's names. It is the same person in both listings, but different people created the memorial almost 1 year apart. Hope this helps, but if additional info is needed, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Hello Rene, thanks for the message. I'd like to compare tree info with you. I still need to add the Helm ancestor to my DAR supplements.

Hi Rene, You might want to try Ancestry.com, I am told that this is a good resource. You have to subscribe as a member to view most of the content on their website (I think they occasionally offer free access for a few days at times, so you might want to check their web site for that information).
You might also try this website:
This site is provided by the LDS Church (Mormons)
they have a huge genealogical data base, it is free.
Lastly, you can also go to the National Archives website to get the name of his parents and his home address that may be of some help, you can copy and paste this link:
This is only for Navy or Marine Corps personnel, the list for the Army does not include the parent names or home address.
I wish you good luck in your search, I hope you are able to find what you are looking for.

Thanks so much for posting the additional photos of the Lamar/Hutsell headstone. The fact that he composed the Minnesota Rouser obviously meant a lot to Hutsell & his wife (all that freehand inscription must have cost a bundle). I really appreciate it. I'll contact the U-MN to give them a heads up.

Thank you for trying to take a photo of James Fielder's headstone. You reported that it is not at the cemetery that I gave you so I will do more research to see what cemetery may be correct. Thanks again, Rose.

Ooops, I may have just sent a blank message! Sorry.
I do want to thank you very much for your time and effort in taking the pictures of the memorials for the Roberts' sister, Hester McAlister and Gertie Crisp. I hope to visit the cemetery in person one day soon but do appreciate having the pictures now.
