PLEASE NOTE: If you send me a "please transfer this memorial to me", without any other information as to why I should do that, your email will simply be deleted and forgotten about. Also send them thru the EDIT tab, not on the message board!!! And please remember the 4 generation rule that Find A Grave uses. |
If I have duplicated your entry, please let me know and any additions or corrections will be gladly accepted. Please submit them through the edit tab above the photo on the memorial page.
Any bio you submit will be revised to abide by the rules of Find A Grave and please list the name of the original publication. Just because other contributors are breaking the rules doesn't make it correct. I probably have some that are wrong myself which I will correct as found.

Thank you very much for transferring the four McCormick memorials to me. I was very close to my cousin Patricia (McCormick) Grant who was a genealogist but died before knowing about Find-a-Grave so this is just a small way of honoring her and her direct ancestors who were all my cousins. I will add obits, photos, and next spring get photos of gravestones.

Thank you for the update.
If you have further information on the Barillari or Sergi families who are interred at Calvary Cemetery, would you kindly contact me via email. I am doing research for the Struthers Fallen Soldier Project.
Again, thank you.

Thank you Barbara. I actually had quite an interesting time with this headstone. I found a program from a church in 1950 with a notation of Grandma Vernon on the front. At about the same time, I researched the Newman's Creek Cemetery (where ML Vernon is) and found out that it belongs to the same church. I sent a letter to the church. They got me in touch with a woman who is my Dad's first cousin! Grandma Vernon was ML Vernon's wife, as it turns out.
Thanks for what you've done on findagrave.

Hello it's Larry's son Michael.
I don't know who you are or, why you even did this.
However I wanted to say thank you.
