Bio and Links
Bio Photo My wife & I have been photographing cemeteries for several years now. We started just as a way to help document our family research, but with digital cameras and memory being so cheap, we thought we might as well take as many photos as we could since we were out there anyway and not everyone can make the trip to visit the graves of their loved ones.

Futrell
I just noticed that one of the names of interest for you is Futrell. Would one of the Futrell women be named Melinda. She would have been alive on the 6th of June 1892, and possibly in 1860. Also would her maiden name be Welch.

THANK YOU
I don't know whether I ever thanked you for doing so much work in photo and input documenting the West Union Cemetery. Many, if not most, of my relatives are buried there.

Decatur City Cemetery
I have been able to get a complete list of what the Parks and Recreation Board has for the people buried in Decatur City Cemetery –mostly since 1979 when they took over control of the cemetery. They have some earlier ones but not a complete list.

I will be sending the plot info to you and hope you will take the time to add it. You have always been so good in adding what I have sent and hope this will be the last time I have to. This cemetery is special to me since I have kin buried there and also because I have been over the entire cemetery taking pictures of every marker I could find. I know I have missed some but with this info I will try to find them to get the picture if they have a marker.

Thank you for your help in getting as much info on the memorials as we can. I have been over every obit book at the Morgan County Archives and added the obits or sent them to you and you were kind enough to add them. I appreciate your help in making this a cemetery with as much info as possible. It is 92% photographed and with all the ones added from obits, Alabama death index and other sources, that is probably as high as it will get.
Thanks again,
Faye
