Many of the memorials I have contributed are those of either my direct ancestors or extended relatives.
If you are related to any of them (and maybe to me,) please send me a message.
I have also created memorials that are of no known connection to me. If any of these are an ancestor or of particular interest to you, please send me a transfer request through the "edit" option and I will likely transfer them to you.

Since their burial places are unknown, what are your sources for the dates of their births and deaths?
|Jim Cartwright||Fred Bird|
Bill, your memorial for Frederick Lemon Bird asked for a contact from relatives. As you already know, he was the brother of my grandfather, Edward H Bird. Mom always referred to him as Uncle Babe. I have a picture of him in his WW 1 military uniform. My records say he was married to Hannah Hollopeter as his first wife and they had one son.

Thanks for thatin fo.
Thanks for the heads-up on the duplication. Mine has been deleted. Why don't you add the plaque photos directly onto his memorial? Much more effective. Regards.
|Roberta||Emma Snyder memorial|
I asked you to connect Emma Snyder http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=46998770
to her husband Lewis. I have her Army Widow card as proof but not your email. You can see a slightly different version here: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1942-24238-3926-89?cc=1919699

|Patricia Kinzie||John Newlin|
Concord was part of Chester County until 1789 so the death records are in Chester Co. John made a will which was proved 10 Feb 1753 in Chester Co., so he must have died by then, not Oct 1753. It is customary to write the original county for the citations. If you use Delaware Co., then you might state that it was Chester Co. at the time of death to make it easier for others to find the records. Estate papers are also on Ancestry, naming wife, Mary. Mary's father, Richard Woodward and John's father, Nathaniel Newlin were officials in the Orphans Court in Chester Co.

Thank you for your work on Find-a-Grave!

|Joan||Thomas Lindley and Ruth Hadley|
I appreciate your contributions to Find A Grave and to maintaining the memorial for the Quaker, Thomas Lindley: Find A Grave Memorial# 18791487.
Re: Dates of Birth for Thomas and wife Ruth.
Did you know the Quaker Calendar prior to 1753 had a different set of months for the numerical references? The 2nd Month was April and the 12 Mo. was February - until the Gregorian Calendar.
Would you like me to make changes to the months of birth for Thomas and Ruth using the edit tab?
Thank You again for your assistance,

Hi Bill, have you seen the new edit procedure that findagrave has rolled out? If you look at the top of this page, you now have an edits tab. If you click on that, you will see edit suggestions sent to you. You will only get an email if it is other, like links and bio info. Findagrave says email notifications are coming. We members were not notified, I found out about in the discussion forums. You should have some from me pending.
