I am working on maintaining Middlesex (Map), Essex (Map) and Suffolk (Map) counties in Massachusetts.|
If any information I enter is incorrect, you wish to add something, or would like a direct relative within four generations transferred just let me know. (per F.A.G. guidelines FAQ79) If requesting a transfer please make sure to say how you are related.
Please use the 'Edit' tab on the upper right hand corner of the memorial for any of the above requests. Thank-you.
This is Find A GRAVE. Please do not ask me to link to 'burial unknowns'. I will be more than happy to do so when the location is found. Take a moment to read FAQ146 regarding unknown burials.
In case you do not wish to read FAQ146 it states "Location of body unknown is used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days."

|Michael Tiernan||Question of proceedure.|
I got your edits for G.W. Flint but am unsure about what I should do.
The bronze marker has his first name but the actual headstone only has "G". What's the correct thing to go by?
Thank you for your help.
I've always felt so bad for G.W. Flint, hidden away next to the dumpster in the back there. Talk about a lonely pickett duty.
Thank you very much for pointing out the duplicate memorial I created for him. I already deleted it.

|Michael Tiernan||Another Civil War vetran on lonely picket duty.|
You'll find that memorial #151507573 for GW Flint is another Civil war vet who's location is on the edge of forgotten.
|Michael Tiernan||RE: Moulton Burial Ground, Peabody Mass|
Thank you for the note. I'm glad to contribute to the cause!

I'd like to offer some photos (including GPS fix) for this location. What's the best way for me to get them to you?
I also see some differences with what is shown now based on my photos of the stones.
How can I help take care of this?
Thank you for your time.

Street view in Google maps, zoom in, top of hill behind wire fence.

"Links to other websites or email addresses are not allowed within any memorial."
I used to put links in, but now I put text lines (and am converting the ones I come across). A link is something you can click on and automatically be routed to a new site. A text line doesn't do anything if you click on it.
It saves a lot of time if I have to research that person again on FS.
|sandra mitchell||Regarding George Henry Coolidge|
There were two sons named George Henry Coolidge born to George and Caroline (Rice) Coolidge. The first was born 9 September 1815. It is probably his grave in Cambridge Cemetery. His brother, of the the same name was born 12 August 1817. He might not have been named until after the death of his older brother. The second George Henry died in 1883 according to Massachusetts Deaths, 1841-1915.

I got my info on Sarah from a Cemetery survey so there has to be a tombstone for Sarah in Maplewood

You're Welcome Denise! I applaud you on your huge undertaking with regard to the known/unknown Vets at the Lowell Cemetery. I'd like to help if I could but the only time I get there is on my lunch break as I work in Chelmsford but live west of Manchester NH. I don't get down there much except for work, plus I only go into the office in Chelmsford 3 days a week which would make me very close to Useless!
So, keep up the good work and good luck with your endeavor - it's a BIG ONE! But I'm sure the results will be very satisfying.
