Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Sweetwater, TX in 1956. I was married in 1983 to a beautiful, smart, and extremely talented wife. We currently live in Jackson, MS.

We have 3 children, all either already in college or just starting.

I've been researching Blasingame, Gonia, Hildreth, and Pridmore surnames, among others.

Please let me know if you come across any memorials I have added which might contain errors. I will gladly correct them.

Thank you for the glimmer of hope! Do you think it is safe for me, by myself?

Ellington Cemetery, Holmes County
Hi, I see you photographed the Ellington Cemetery in Holmes County. I was wondering how hard it was to find and if I needed to hack my way into the cemtery. The pix you posted look like bug spray is a must. Thanks.

RE: Annie M. Cheeks and Eddie Fields
After some Googling, I checked the Madison County GIS system to see if there's a second cemetery there near Highway 43 & Highway 16, and it turns out that it's all the same piece of property, owned by the Methodist Church. So what they've done in lieu of spending a lot of money to level trees and grade the property to expand to the south from the main part of the cemetery, they've just used a different road (Highway 16) to access a different part of the property. [Sorry for the delay in responding.]

Thanks for bringing the duplicate memorial to my attention. I would delete it, however, I cannot delete either one because I didn't create them in the first place. I've emailed the Find-A-Grave administrators requesting that they do it. Please be patient, as they will get this done according to their schedule, not mine. -J
