PLEASE FORGIVE DELAY IN RESPONSE TO MESSAGES OR EDITS. WILL GET TO YOU AS SOON AS THINGS SETTLE DOWN HERE. STILL ALIVE. THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS.
PLEASE ADOPT AN ORPHAN
I have many orphan memorials - meaning I'm not related and they need someone to properly manage them. Please check out the orphan Myers in Saranac Cemetery in Michigan and my Virtual Cemetery "Adopt Me" on the right --->
Ask for a transfer(s) by using the EDIT button on the memorial page and click on "suggest any other correction or addition." Make sure you put your member # in the note and your relationship. I transfer outside FaG guidelines so that the memorials can receive proper care from interested family members.
Thanks for your support of this site by your hard work posting, editing, adding photos AND using Find a Grave!
I have 16,000+ hrs of genealogical research since 2001 and specialize in the Great Lakes area. Love to help others find their families so if you need help, feel free to ask.
I leave flowers only when I visit a memorial while doing research and, lately, have been trying to remember to add my relationship. If I leave a flower or send an edit, I most likely have that person (or a close relative) in my own family database.
Question? Correction? Use the EDIT button and click "suggest any other correction or addition" (quickest way and private) or leave a public message. If I ask for your source, don't be offended: I want to add the source to my database.
The cat ate the bird (if you've read this profile before, you'll get the joke) so I'm only going to say life is too short, so live and love as if this is your last day.

|Joni Spellman Krause||Earl Coykendall Information|
Dear Cherie, Thank-you very much for the added information on Earl's untimely death. Are you related to Earl? If so, we are cousins. Warmly, Joni
Please transfer my great-great-grandfather (147063089) to me and my family (46849439). My mom is his great-grandaughter with same surname. His full name is Thomas Henry McCauley, Sr.
Thanks for your time.

Hello. Hattie is my 3rd great grandmother and I have been trying to find confirmation of her parents, etc. I see according to the notes you have a copy of her death certificate, which I have not been able to find. Can you please post a copy of the death certificate or email it to me? I would really appreciate it!
Her Findagrave # is 159022193.

Hi Cherie, I see your name on several TAFT memorials in Zorra. I am looking for relatives or information about Sophia Taft, born 1815 in Vermont. Married Lanty Shannon Youngs in 1841. Any info appreciated. Deborah
|M Kaufmann||Sarah McElrath|
I an reasonably sure that Sarah died in Michigan between 1856 and 1860. The obituary of her son George states he moved to Michigan about age 6 with his parents. This would be about 1856 and Sarah is not in the 1860 census.
|Linda Hiross||Humphrey Turner|
Hi Cherie! Good observation re: Humphrey. My listing of his stone in First Parish was done by personal observation; a very old stone if I remember correctly BUT stone memorials were not common in 1673 when he d. and the one in Man of Kent Cemetery was definitely added much later after his death (1889?). Also possible his remains were moved? At this point, cemetery records of either location might tell us which location is the final resting place as without them I wouldn't want to guess. He may have been a member of the First Parish Church and the one there is a memorial and not a burial, but the stone did not say or I would have recorded it. Sorry I can't be of more help here...Linda
