Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a family historian and genealogical sleuth, driven to find the truth and tell the stories. I use every possible avenue to uncover the mystery of those that have preceded us and I set the record straight. I am attuned to the fact that not all stories, whether it's in historical books or newspapers or memory, are completely accurate. I cross-reference everything to put the pieces together and come up with the "real story". I welcome any feed back that will help me to close my cases, while maintaining an accurate record. I approach this endeavor like a detective.

In reference to this site, I am thrilled with the efforts of others. I truly appreciate the hard work everyone puts into making this a site worth visiting.

I love the stories behind the people who once walked this planet. Regardless of what happened in their life-time, it still tells a story. I like to share what I know about the people I've researched and hope that someone will take interest. In the end, I like to think that those spirits are enlightened with my work.

RE: Eleazer Gaylord #80097724
I sent an edit request to link Eleazer to his parents, Walter Gaylord and his second wife Sarah Rockwell. Walters first wife and mother first 5 children was Mary Stebbins Find A Grave #34128078. After Mary died 29 June 1657 he married Sarah 22 Mar 1660 and had 3 more children, including Eleazer born 15 Mar 1662. Once you get his parents linked you will see links to several ancestors. Arlo

Gaylord in Merritt Cemetery
I was just given a census of Merritt Cemetery and noticed you had worked on the Gaylord family.

I just added several Gaylord family names that were not on Find A Grave. I believe that a couple are related to William.

My friend and I went looking for this grave while we were tending to my family markers. We did not find this grave or any grave with either of the names on it. This is an old cemetery and a lot of the stones are broken, collapsed and marble has worn away over the years that a lot of the stones are unreadable.

Will try again at the end of the summer.

RE: Photos of headstones in Randolph Rural Cemetery
Hi Patty,
You're most welcome and very kind.
I found a few other Evarts Family members in the Randolph Cemetery and I created memorials for them.
They are:

Alta Evarts
1866-1954
Florence L Evarts
1888-1974
Helen L Evarts
1919-1926
John D Evarts,
1862-1923
and
Lloyd Evarts
1889-1956

Just wanted to let you know in case they are your relatives.
Sincerely, Ron Kinney
