A native Ohioan, who enjoys genealogy, and walking cemeteries to help others in family research and to help preserve history.|
I am always happy to make corrections and add any additional information you may have for any memorial, such as links to parents and spouse etc. However, please read Find A Graves "Transfer Rules" before making a transfer request. If said person has no ties to my family ancestry and I have no personal interest in that person, I will gladly transfer.

Sherri, Please check your records concerning his birth date. The obit you have quoted says he was born Aug 22 1923.(at least the one from the funeral home) He is not a close relative, but I would like to be correct in my tree. Thanks,
Janis Webb Babb

Hi Sherri, you are probably looking at an old tree. I have what you have for Samuel. I started running through census records and corrected my error somewhere along the line. My current, working tree is EvansSteele on Ancestry.com.

Would it be okay with you if the Beachwood Historical Society used the picture you posted of John Neubauer in a brochure about cemetery tours. You of course would get credit and a copy of the brochure! Let me know.

Your memorial 91470697 in Dorset Cemetery, Ashtabula County, Ohio is for Polly M. Young, my 2nd great grand aunt.
(You have no maiden name for her, and no surname for her husband.)I thank you for listing that unknown grave! I figured she was buried in Dorset, and when I did a first-name search for Polly, there she was.
Polly, born 1837 in nearby Cherry Valley Township, was a daughter of Benjamin N. Young and Rhoda Brown, who are buried in Cherry Valley Cemetery.
In 1861 she married John Leslie of Cherry Valley, son of Alexander Leslie and Mary J. Gowday.
Polly and John lived in Dorset and had four children: Emmons, Ellsworth, Ortiz and Edith. After her deaath, John remained a Dorset a few years. He appears there in the 1880 census with his second wife, Mary Lenora Cady, whom he married that year. They had children Victor Hugh, Charles W. and Eva Florence.
John, born 11 Sep 1836 in Liberty, Trumbull County, Ohio died 20 Dec 1912 in Kinsman, Trumbull County. Mary Lenora Cady was born 20 Feb 1850 in Streetsboro, Ohio. She died in Kinsman 19 March 1933. She and John are buried in New Kinsman Cemetery.

John Henderson (1804-1885), buried in Fredonia Cemetery, is my 4G Grandfather. I have a photo of him. Are you related?

Sheri many thanks for the great photo of Byrnina's memorial. The service that you are performing is invaluable...your contribution makes a difference. Audrey
|Neal Gardner||Eileen Saylor|
I'm about to accept additions for Eileen. Since my grandmother was a Winans, was Eileen's mother's maiden surname TUTTLE and she married a WINANS ? Either before or after Gordon Danforth ?
Thanks for any further info you may have. Neal
|Irene Dowling||Christine Cushnyr|
Sheri, just wanted to let you know that on her memorial, you transposed the N & Y. It's actually spelled CUSHNYR. I also found Clarence, Martha, Robert & Philip and made memorials for them also. Irene
