I wanted to respond to the comment on Edith Hearn Pickens memorial about your grandfather's memories. He has most of it correct but has it connected to the wrong people. Edith Hearn Pickens was married to William Lawrence Pickens, who went by Lawrence. He was the brother of Joseph Wiley Pickens, who was my great-grandfather. Uncle Lawrence was the game warden in Eufala, and he and Edith had one son, Dean Edward Pickens, who drowned in a lake when he was 10 years old. Joseph Wiley Pickens married Cora Boan Winebrenner who had a son that Joe adopted. That was my grandfather, Roy Lee Winebrenner Pickens. Roy's father had died when Roy was 6 years old.

I went to Spring Grove to take a photo of the marker of Martha Fightmaster for you. Unfortunately, there is no marker there for her. Her husband, James' grave has a marker (took pic and added to his memorial) but her grave is unmarked.

Thank you for the wonderful photo. Wasn't sure where his wife was buried. You solved that mystery for me. I have added his wifes memorial #110780541 Julia Frances Van Brunt West. Would you be so kind to add the photo of the headstone to her memorial? I have requested a photo for her so you can claim it. Thank you. Nancy Kipp

I was visiting my ancestors memorials and we share msny of the same ones Lee, Grubb and so on. Wish you the best of luck with your research. I see you are having the same issues with ancestors being almost impossible to find. Don't give up. Wishing you a fruitful research.
All the best,

I was there and looking for his marker and the only Corbin marker I saw was broken (I took a pic any way if you interested) and the text side down. I tried moving it with no luck. Sorry.
