Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a born and bred native of Keya Paha County, Nebraska. Much of my family homesteaded here before 1900. I arrived in 1952 when I was born. I have lived here all my life and continue to enjoy the quiet life in Keya Paha County with my husband, Mike. We have four children who have now left the nest and are periodically adding to the family tree with children of their own.

A few years ago I became interested in genealogy and began to research my family history. Much of the research was done online where I discovered the value of online cemetery transcriptions. I also discovered that Keya Paha County had almost no online information about its cemeteries. Since then I have attempted to transcribe and put online the information from Keya Paha County. If you discover errors in my work, please feel free to contact me via email with the correct information.

Re: Ruth Musilek
Hi there Sandi...Thank you so much for transferring the Musilek's to us for the family.

Also could you please DELETE the previous message from your page... as I was typing to you, I hit the wrong key and it went out! Sorry I didn't even get Aunt Ruth's name correctly.

Thank you for your condolence message... you are so kind. Yes, she was a very fine lady. I am in the process now of updating all their pages and also researching pictures to add. D

RE: Ruth Musilek
Hi Sandi ... would you please transfer Aunt Ruth #59634531 to us for our family history, updating Bio, family history and pictures. We were waiting for some further info on her before we added her to Find A Grave. As we were checking today we find she has been already out there. Thank you in advance for the transfer for our safe keeping for our family records and Genealogy. Ruth's Family

RE: Gerald R. Graham
I always will post an obit; it makes the person come alive instead of just names and dates. Thank you for you input on his memorial.

Gerald R. Graham
Please delete the obit on Gerald's memorial # 73505585. According to Find A Grave rules this space is for pictures of stones/markers and people; not for obits. I have typed the obit and given you credit for it. Keep up the great job on your work for Keya Paha County.

thanks!!! ~Peggy

Thanks Sandi. I would assume the same thing that only family would be interested but alas this is not the case. Hobby genealogists and members of findagrave have taken all the photos of my family from there findagrave memorials and have reposted them even when they have no relationship to my family. Findagrave does nothing to the members who violate this policy so sadly I had to remove all photos I placed on here. It felt strange that some stranger would have photos of my Great great grandfather. Findagrave provides links to now so I really don't know why people have to steal the images and repost them. It seems disrespectful to the memorial and the members family. Thanks again. You've been very helpful and I plan to be in Keya Paha and Custer county lots this season doing hands on research. Anthony

Please remove obit clip
Hi Sandi, I was hoping you can remove the obit from my GGGgrandfathers memorial. It seems many people of course appropriate materials from find a grave and then repost it all over the internet. Please delete the obit from his memorial page. I am grateful that you found it when I requested help but would have liked to keep it private. Now it appears many people who have no connection are using the material...which it took me three years just to discover him. I believe these materials should be protected by family. I also removed all old photos because of the same illegal theft of my images on relatives memorials. People just dont respect findagrave policies. I also had to break up many links and connections so these unrelated hobby genealogists have to do their own work if they are interested in my family. Appreciate it. Anthony...heres the link to the memorial...
