Bio and Links
Bio Photo Thanks for stopping by! I joined "Find A Grave" so that I could manage some of my relatives memorial pages, add some more, and do some research into my family.
I am interested in the Brammers, Cruz, and Whites of Madera, Barnitz family of Pennsylvania (specifically York), Ohio and Indiana, and the Page, Leisure, and of course, Lynch names (also, any names that come up associated with my family, such as McClean, Holford, Sexson, Wanner, Mankedick, McKinney, Hyskill, Gray, etc-see my "Virtual Cemeteries".).
If I have added your relative to a the site, there IS a reason-feel free to ask about it!
And if you have any information on MY family, please send me a message-I'd love to hear from you. I am also always looking for family members of the 3rd Recon Marines, Delta Co, "Flight Time" who were killed in Vietnam with my Uncle on 6/4/69.
Thanks!

RE: Fausts
Michael and Lena may very well have had 7 children. I know of 5:

Caroline b ~1859
Francis Andrew b 1962
George Henry b ~1864
Mary b ~ 1869
Lewis b ~ 1872

I know my Dad had 2 or 3 siblings die in childbirth or as infants. That was a quite common occurrence in those days.

Thanks for your help on this. I almost have to discount the Amelia thing, except that this was information presented to the family by a law firm researching heirs to dispose of an estate. Seems like they'd do a better job of documenting the info, but my parents are long gone, and all I have is a piece of paper.

I will look into the Rootsweb site. Haven't had a lot of luck finding credible info there, but at this point, options are few.

RE: Fausts
Unfortunately, my subscription to Ancestry.com has lapsed, and I have not looked at my documentation for several months, so I don't have my head around all of the details at this point.

My records show Christine Heine b about 1845, married to Henry Kleis 17 OCT 1867. She had 4 children. She married Michael Faust 21 AUG 1886 in Lebanon (Boone) IN. Michael had 5 children, including my g-grandfather (Francis Andrew, b 1862) - so the assumption is that Magdelena (Lena) is the mother.

However, some of the handwritten family notes include a reference to an "Ameilia". I cannot find any documentation for her in Ancestry.com, FamilySearch, or other online sites.

About 30 years ago, a lawyer contacted my parents about an inheritance, and the documentation that the lawyer's office produced also referenced "Amelia".

Again, any insight you can provide would really be welcome.

RE: The Fausts
Sara:

Thanks for the response (better late than never!).

Can you elaborate on the Mankedick connection? Is this "Lena" or another wife? If it is different, I must assume that it was after "Lena", who, according to handwritten family notes was my g-g-grandmother.

I would appreciate any documentation that you have and would be able share. This one branch of my tree is a head-scratcher.

Maria L (Fisher) Barnitz
I know you are interested in the Barnitz family and unfortunately I have nothing to contribute. But since Daniel J Barnitz married my ggg aunt, I was wondering if you had any information on the Fisher family. I only know the parents names. Also do you know the birthdates of Daniel and Maria's four children? Ann of Tampa, FL #46820446 in findagrave. Thanks!

McClean Family
Hello Sara,

This is the first time I've been back on this site since I joined in May. I was excited by your response. In 1999, I spent 6 weeks trekking through PA researching family. Among the many highlights were visiting the Historic Presbyterian Cemetary in Uniontown, the Marsh Creek Cemetary, attending services at the Marsh Creek Presbyterian Church and discovering the monument to Archibald in York. I'd love to chat and share family info, photos, etc.

I look forward to hearing from you.

RE: Mudersbach's
Hi Sara--no, you go ahead and keep them--nice job. I am sure you know that my brother Evert, Todd's Dad has passed away. Is it possible we can get a link added under Elbert and Preble for him. I can give you you whatever you need. Also one of my daughter's passed away last Sept and a friend did post it in Find a Grave--is it possible to attach that link to Elbert and Preble?

Thinking you might be from the Lynch side of the
