First, I would like to thank the people who take time to upload this information. There are relatives I would not know where they were buried otherwise. It is such a gift to future generations. Feel free to copy any pictures for your personal information. |
I found FindAGrave by accident but I am very thankful I did. I have added family members where the information was available. If anyone who has more information would like to add bio information etc., I would be more than willing to turn over any listing to you if you are immediate family. You may leave a message with FindAGrave.

Glenda, Thanks for your reply. I do not have a tree on Ancestry, but I am a member: Maitreya22. Let me know your name on there if you have a tree. I will try to find you. I have added what I know on Nathan, his father, grand father and gr-grandfather on findagrave. His grandfather, Joel is the only one in a cemetery: Joel Crawford, Crawford Cemetery, Columbia County, Georgia. He died on Oct. 13, 1788. Yes, I would like to have the names of the people who have done a lot of research on the Crawfords. R.J. (Jane)

Hi Glenda, Do you know when Mary Caroline Crawford's parents died in Macon County, AL ? Do you know where they are buried ? They were last on the 1866 Alabama State Census. R.J.

Thanks for the reply- If there are any memorials that you want me to transfer to you please let me know- If corrections need to be made, I will be glad to make- Glad you are so involved in posting your ancestry for others. Jane

I am also on Ancestry but am not kin to any of the Crosby family- I do spend some time trying to add more information on Find a Grave to memorials and linking family members in some Lafourche Cemeteries. (Most of the memorials have no information other that just name and date) I was so impressed with the Crosby photos that I asked Rose Marie for permission to post to Find A Grave. I hope that you are not offended. Jane

Glenda, Thank you for sponsoring her memorial. Would you like for me to transfer her and 2nd husband, William's memorials to you ? Her brother, Benjamin Frankilin Crawford was my gr-gr-grandfather. R.J.

It's nice to meet a new cousin.
I am a Bowman descendant, too. Your Barbara was a younger sister to my Johnann Jacob (1733-1794). We both descend from Johann Jacob and first wife Verena.
My line goes:
Johann Jacob & Verena>Johann Jacob & Susannah Rachel Milhouse> Catherine & John Miller> Jacob David Miller & Margaret Kelly> John Miller & Abigail Plumlee> Kendall Miller & Jennie Lynn Williams> Ollie Miller & Charles Kimble Rinehart> Lois Rinehart> Marilyn Rinehart & Cecil Hensley >me
If you would like me to transfer Barbara to you, just let me know.

I was wondering if you are a descendant of Barbara and John Hunter?

You are very welcome! I always keep an eye out for the Collins name as my great great grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Collins Yarbro and her father was Andrew Jackson 'Jack' Collins who was born about 1838 in Tennessee but ended up in Arkansas.

I got a message from Find A Grave that said you have sponsored the memorial for William Collins. I can transfer management of this memorial to you if you would like.
Greetings. I've been informed you sponsored memorial #69704387. If you'd like to manage it let me know via suggest a correction & I'll transfer it to you. :)
